  • Considering my kids already refer to pre millennial days as the ancient 19’s, you can already do it with the younger crowd.

  • Bravo for writing so much you had me believing Anthro Heat wasn’t exactly what the title sounds like.

  • They only count the official release date on Steam. DLC/expansions don’t count even if they are new releases, which I consider pretty odd. My report shows zero new games played, yet I played two expansions that came out this year.

  • Still one in the Denver airport so it isn’t totally gone.

  • Pretty sure the majority of the US conservative base is not wealthy. Only the top 0.1% has benefited financially from recent changes.

I think it has a lot more to do with someone's own experiences with government. I've lived in areas with corrupt local governments and incredibly well run governments. I can absolutely understand those who live their whole lives under corrupt local governments, the ones they actually interact with on a regular basis, thinking every other one is just as bad and wanting it as limited as possible.

Then of course there's the more hate oriented agendas, but calling those merely conservative feels like we're being too kind to them.

  • Of course it had to happen to the best game to come out of the AC franchise. I freaking love black flag.

  • But what if they smack it so it spins around and hits me like in a cartoon? Not sure I can take that risk.

  • But they let me see who is at the door without coming up from the basement.

  • If by disparity you mean sometimes Windows is better and sometimes Linux is better. I have one of those GPUs. Give it a try before you slam it. Valve has thrown so much money into Proton that support is amazing compared to when I tried a decade ago.

  • He's terrific and I never had him affect stealth archer/mage gameplay.

  • Inigo in Skyrim. Fully voiced follower who is funnier, more interesting and more authentic than any companion I’ve had in the last decade of games.

  • What’s the better option though? I assumed a native service was superior since I found arch specific versions.

  • Google does it so much I’ve had trouble finding favorite places because they’d rather show an ad that overlaps it.

  • Yeah that would be preferred but the NTFS drive is 16TB of backups and media.

  • Swapped to CachyOS

    Pros:

    • Super easy OS install
    • Good tool for installing steam
    • Most games play fine but knew this already from my steam deck

    Cons:

    • Struggled to find how to setup services like Jellfin, SABnzbd, etc. Not as simple as just installing them on windows, but not bad once I figured out how services work.
    • Heavily modded games like Total War Warhammer 3 were a pain since the modding tools are designed for Windows. Got them working, but stability was worse.
    • No Virtual Desktop for my Quest 3. I’ve heard I can get VR working on it, but only for games.
    • Getting write access on my existing NTFS drive was a pain. Read access worked, by I had to change ownership from root on all files to allow changes.

  • It already has ads. Those businesses it highlights for no reason at all when you’re scrolling around.

  • It’s fine. Not sure where you heard it’s terrible.

  • To the people like me who are confused, this is the actual video the US president posted. I figured this was too far even for that guy.

  • This has gotta be some AI drivel. It even tried to say upper class in San Francisco starts at $69k so unless they’re talking about 1930 this is nonsense.
