Not really, BLM was started to highlight issues of racism, discrimination, inequality etc. faced by black people.
I would not have had an issue if the mod had said equal rights for all people, including Jewish people. It's the fact that they say equal rights for all, but "in particular" one specific group that I take issue with, doesn't matter if that group is Jews, Christians, white people, black people, etc.
If we want equal rights for all (as we should) then that includes Jewish people, we don't then specify that one group "in particular" gets equal rights. I wouldn't have taken issue with the sentence if it simply said Jewish people included, because "all people" does indeed include Jewish people, but "in particular" is picking them out as special.
Why do they need to be specified? If it's equal rights for all people, then that includes Jews. There is no need to specify if you are promoting equality for all.
A VM would be a good way to try out different distros & desktop environments, and to get some familiarity with Linux. For actually gaming I would install the OS on bare metal (you could dual boot if you wanted to keep windows installed as a backup).
I mean the original anti-piracy ad said you wouldn't steal a car, because they were trying to equate digital piracy with physical theft, it's the meme edits that say you wouldn't download a car
Something like almost half of generic medications are made in India.
Is this for cancer drugs or generics in general? Only asking because most of the generics I see in the UK are made here, but that might be because I've only seen the more common medications and not stuff like cancer drugs.
For security disable password authentication - use public key instead, disable root login via ssh - use sudo or su from another user.
To reduce the number of attempts of others trying to get in change the ssh port and/or set-up fail2ban.
You could also set a firewall rule to only allow ssh from your IP address, if you have a static address at home and only need access from there, or have a way to VPN into your home network. Make sure you have a static address if you do this though, you don't want your IP to change and be left locked out of your server.
You could use rclone with any service it supports as encrypted cloud storage by using its crypt feature. More technical to set up though than just installing an app.
Select who you are setting up your email with (plenty of different providers, Zoho has a basic free plan that would be suitable for a single domain and only a few users at most; Google, outlook etc. also sell services for custom domains)
Configure the DNS records for your domain to whatever your chosen email provider says (MX records to point to the mail server and some records for DMARC & DKIM to prevent your email being spoofed)
Test it all works and start using it
I'm not going to write a full tutorial so if it sounds interesting I suggest you do more research. The email hosting is typically focused at businesses as they are most likely to be wanting to host email on a custom domain.
If you're just referring to the restaurants, I'd just call one of those restaurants an Indian (as in the cuisine) or maybe a curry house. Tandoori, Balti, etc. all relate to styles of cooking and may be used in restaurant names, but if I was referring to restaurants that serve Indian style curries in general, I would just call it an Indian.
Yeah, I think this is likely what happened, will be interesting to see what the investigation finds. I'm surprised there isn't any sort of backup power for the voice recorder, it's there to help investigate incidents, those 4 minutes would have contained a lot of vital insight into what was going on.
Runways can be used from either direction, usually they try to land with a headwind if there is significant wind I think. I think the localizer antenna can be at both ends of the runway if both directions have ILS approaches, but I'm not an expert. The concrete mound for the antenna is getting a lot of focus because it made a runway excursion so much worse.
It seems to me like they may have decided to make the landing then due to losing altitude and thinking they wouldn't be able to climb again, but hopefully the investigation can figure out what probably happened.
Fair enough, I agree the situation is mildly infuriating, whatever the reason you wanted it. A lot of restaurant/pub chains over here will throw out extra food if they prepped too much, rather than letting staff take it, probably because they don't want people creating waste on purpose but also don't want to spend the minimal effort required to stop people abusing the system if they allowed people to take excess food home. The distrust of low paid workers leads to most stores being unable to deal with special requests unless you are speaking to the manager and I don't know where I'm going with this...
Yeah, German policing of the situation has been pretty insane
