  • We really need better onboarding for new users, maybe ask them about their interests to give them a default set of subscriptions (it would probably just be a tweaked version of the community search page). And default to the subscribed feed, not the All feed

  • Kdenlive has a built in feature to automatically create and use proxies for editing, it helps a ton. I did create a custom encoding profile for my proxies to be a bit higher quality.

  • I think those issues have improved a lot in the past year or so

  • The first link still shows an empty profile with no posts

  • (not a statistician) The events that WOULD be synchronized are: instances going down, users being deleted, and new user signups.

    Maybe this is enough to make them look like this. Those are the events that cause jumps, whereas users hitting the 6 months of inactive time would just be a steady, stable, gentle slope.

    I agree with you, but it's actually a complaint I've seen often, so I guess lots of people browse All

    PieFed has a feature like this and it's well received
