  • This is game over. They control the information flow and narrative. They have control of all branches of government. They will be able to do whatever they want because the people in charge of telling you something is wrong are all compromised. Nobody will be able to organize and even if they could, they would be instantly crushed with violent force and the ones who are supposed to stop that violent force will the ones doing it and nobody will bat an eye because half your country is fucking insane. And I doubt your country will be stopped by any other country because you are the most militarily powerful country on earth and the only competitors to you on earth are China and Russia, both of which benefit from this whole thing. It's too late. We are totally fucked unless you guys have a civil war like, tomorrow.

  • You're thinking too much already. They might not even be reacting negatively to what you're saying but you're so insecure that you read into stuff that isn't your fault. Or maybe you're going too deep for work place conversations. Like talking about personal stuff that is not what most people wanna here. Honestly, based on what you posted, you are a weird guy that has weird thinking. It's okay, no judgemental because I am too. But what I've found works with people is too just fit in with them. Don't air your dirty laundry out too them and just talk about mainstream stuff. If it's something you think might be what the average person isn't into, just don't talk about it.

  • Weed was easy. Don't even think I was addicted. For me, I've been struggling for with sleeping pills lately. Might go back to the weed but just do oils before bed for sleep. I'm a shift worker in a high stress job so I need something at night to calm the nerves sometimes.

  • Had a guy that used to find me on reddit and respond to everything I said. It was innocent and funny because it was literally just him talking shit out the prequel star wars to me. Not really an argument I guess. He did it for like 3 years. Stopped doing it about 8 years ago. Wonder what happened to that guy.

  • Life is vastly different than in the 80s. You can literally know anything you want right now, simply by asking an artificially intelligent handheld computer that has access to every discovery known to man. We're on the cusp of being able to cure almost any disease and live forever. We can blow the planet up 10x over and still have ammo left. Scientists can see so far away that they can almost see the beginning of time. Nothing your great grandfather saw in his life will compare to what you will see in yours, have already seen.

  • Not gonna lie, china felt like the enemy a few months ago. Now they feel like the sane alternative to being allies with the us. Not saying they are the good guy, but certainly better than the us is.

  • This is how I see it. My nature is conservative but I constantly see how conservative politicians are the worst and most evil people in our society. They take my naturally fearful and anxious nature and attempt to twist it into anger and hate so that I vote for them. But the mask is lifted at this point. I honestly don't know what I believe in anymore or what to think other than that any conservative politician is going to be at best a useful idiot for some billionaire and at at worst a dangerous power hungry narcissist committed to the destruction of any law or person that stands against him. Truly awful people. Not to say liberals are perfect, but at least there is some sense of duty in what they do. They at least want to make things better. I don't always agree with them, but i trust them. I don't trust conservatives anymore and don't know why I ever did.

  • The expanse is top tier tv. Not sure how it wasn't more popular. Community is gonna go down as one of the classics
