  • Sword Art Online Abridged by Something Witty Entertainment, season 1 was fantastic, but season 2 has been pretty flaccid. Goblin Slayer Abridged by Grimjack is fantastic and takes the series in a very different direction. So far it just keeps getting better as it goes on, further refining the jokes. Grimjack also did a My Hero Academia abridged, think it was called My Dumb Academia or something. I think they only did season 1, but it was fantastic. They are currently also working on a Demon Slayer Abridged but it wasn't for me. Team Four Star is also still doing DBZ content, just not Abridged content exactly. It's a show called Cell in Hell, focusing on Cell... in HIFL, living with other villains like Raditz and Frieza. Also by TFS is Hellsing Ultimate Abridged, but it was a bit too edgy for my taste.

    These ones aren't really for me, but people do really like Code Ment (Code Geass Abridged) and 50% Off (Free! Abridged).

    Technically, the English Dub of Ghost Stories could be considered an Abridged series because the dubbing staff was never given the script and had to just make up what they thought was going on, or so I've heard.

  • Disagree. Russian culture is based heavily upon many things that are counterproductive and harmful to others. For example, corruption is not merely an aspect of the government, but the culture of Russia. Corruption is evident in every aspect of their society, it is practically expected that your boss steals from the company, and that you steal from your boss, it is why there are stories from before the Ukraine war of people walking into military supply depots and buying military weapons off of the soldiers there. Alongside that is a culture that promotes abuse, that celebrates poverty and stealing from others to get by, it is partly why the domestic abuse rate is so high and why Russian soldiers stole Toilets during the opening of the war. Then you also have the part of Russian culture which insists upon dominating all other cultures around them, as they have done for a thousand years, suppressing the natives and trying to eradicate their cultures, and insisting that Anything that is opposed to this is evil, or "Nazi" as they now use these days. That's not even getting into issues like the mass raping of children that we saw in the opening of the war, and the fact the soldiers would film it to share with friends and family, who would collectively Laugh at the horrific crimes being done. When citizens are asked about these crimes, their response is always the same; "It didn't happen, but also they deserved it."

    This is not simply an issue of a horrible government, it is an issue of a culture that promotes Evil and claims it to be good purely because it is Russians doing it. Even their religion is just another arm of this, promoting their evil ways. Also, even if it was simply due to a "shit government" it seems odd that Every Russian government in their history has been mired in horrific things, every single ruler, every regime, there is not one point in time where you can say that the government wasn't shit.

    In the words of George Orwell: "A people who elect criminals are not victims, but accomplices."

  • We need to balkanize Russia, and turn Moscow into an irradiated wasteland for good measure. Russian "culture" must be eradicated, as it is explicitly harmful to all others.

  • There is no "let me know when it's done." We must all arm ourselves and take a stand. Everyone is waiting for another Luigi to come and save the day, but we must all be Luigi to do what must be done. Arm yourself, organize with those in your community, and fight back.

  • Assassinating Trump doesn't solve this, it merely shifts the figurehead to the next dictator. We don't just need to get rid of Trump, we need to get rid of Everyone in power. Republicans, Democrats, members of the cabinet, members of the senate, members of the house, the SCOTUS, all of them. They are all collaborators in the effort to bring about their fascist dystopia, and all must be purged to prevent it.

  • He still hasn't gotten over being kicked from the group because he made the other players uncomfortable, one of whom still works with him, and he blames me because I wasn't willing to kick the rest of the group instead. (Yes, he actually suggested kicking every other player and just finding new ones who would, and I quote, "agree with me more")

  • I have a fondness for the version where he screams "I WAS WRONG!" when confronted about why he is trying so hard to undo his work while you try to convince him to let the cure fail. I never got that scene naturally, but it hits hard.

  • Simple, by bearing witness to multiple terrible DMs that have been in my group, while also seeing people actively enjoy when I DM after I started a campaign on a whim after a DM quit our group. I just went "Well, I can't be worse then That guy right?" and ran with it, jumping into a homebrew campaign with a homebrew world, both of which had 0 planning and about an hours worth of thought put into it in advance. Even the map was something made in MS paint about 10 minutes before the session. Everyone had a blast and I have been Forever DM ever since, even though I still barely know what I am doing.
