Fan of breaking echo chambers by being devils advocate. Other than that, centrist. As in in USA I'd be considered left.

    Look, I support quite a lot of leftist agenda, but also some conservative ones, some authoritarian ones and some libertarian ones. Thus, centrist.

    Is "Trans folk should be normal!" a good agenda? Fuck no, they are normal and already deal with rare and debiliating shit, no reason to offer anything else than support. But I do agree with "Leave church marriages to church rules". One is bad, other preference of community.

    Do I believe we need someone at the top to guide shit? Yeah, most of the time, but it may be I know too little about alternatives.

    Do I believe we should have absolute freedom to say shit? Yes. Fuck censorship, no matter what drives it. Do I believe that saying shit should be also defended from opinions of other folk? Fuck no. If you're walking trashbag spewing shit, don't expect folk to treat you kindly.

    So yeah. I don't fit any camp neatly. I believe in traditions, but I don't believe they can't get outdated or face a new problem they weren't designed to ha dle. I believe in vision and leadership, but I don't believe we should lose our freedom for it - more guidance than a whip. No, slave owners were in no way or form guides for "poor silly slaves", abuse is not guidance.

    And I still know I am gonna get shat on, because this isn't community for centrists xD But well, that's my freedom to say things and face opinions in action.

  • People wrote around what it is. It's a gift. I can get you a new lamp after hearing you need one that you won't like or I can find a close, fancy shop with lamps, get gift card and give it to you.

    Cash always has more important things to get spent on. Gift card are just this - gifts. Shitty ones, like for whole mall, are sad. Specific ones are great, they give you choice while clearly showing thought and care.

    Hell. Both cash and non-specific gift cards aren't even gifts imo, there's no care nor thought behind them.

  • Hey, so I dropped weight casually and all I did was:

    • Limit snacks. Best to zero, but minimum to one a week.
    • Your food portion? Cut it in half. Fat folk tend to eat big portions, I know I did, cut it in half.
    • Don't eat constantly, predefine 3 times you are gonna eat, that's it. For me it's breakfast, second breakfast (at work) and dinner.
    • Drink water when hunger is too big.

    You will be hungry, a lot for some time but shortly it will stabilise and you'd mainly feel hunger around food time.

    After time, my body stabilised around 15kg lower than I were when I began, and that's with me breaking it quite often xD

    Also girls feel overly sexualised. Well, we like to look at eye candy in sports, regardless of sex...but again, can we go unisex in clothing, with non-crushing design? Would solve a lot of problems.
