  • That's a code phrase. Your dentist is a spy, and he thought you were one of his fellow agents.

  • This is a comment I posted on the other community.

Yes, librewolf is running. I intentionally have it open. But there is no audio playing. When I kill the process, it does not unblock, even though there is no librewolf process left. When I reboot the computer and restart librewolf, it does not block. When I play a video in the browser, it blocks again. When I close that tab, it is still blocked. When I close the browser, it is still blocked, even though there is no librewolf process left.(This is the Flatpak version, if that helps)

  • There are no ads in Librewolf, Ublock Origin is installed by default.

When I tested this, I only loaded one page that could play videos, so nothing is playing in the background.

The same thing happens on Firefox.

  • Why are Ubuntu and Kubuntu so far away?

  • Stratification between the corporate and the free world.

On one side, you have bots, bots, and more bots. Enshittification running rampant. AOL-style locked-down platforms, but worse, because they steal your data and your soul to fuel their profits.

On the other side of the fence is the side of freedom. The fediverse will have more users. Also, old-style personal websites/blogs could make a comeback.

  • Reddit gradually began to suck. Enshittification started to take its toll, but I was protected because I used Old Reddit with a lot of blockers, and I never used the app. Then the API crisis happened, and I thought "Why am I supporting a corporate big-tech platform?" So I left, because a bunch of other people were doing the same.

TLDR: everyone else did everyone who counts did.

  • How do I stop some big mean missed command from tearing up my main drive?

The answer: Use Ctrl-C. And if that don't work, use more Ctrl-C.

And if that don't work? Use Ctrl-Z.

  • Because they consider themselves to be the original China, since their government was formed from the Nationalist (pre-communist) government of China, who were chased out by the Communists.

The situation is NOT like this:

🇨🇳: The island of Taiwan is part of me!🇹🇼: No, I am an independent nation!

    It's like this:

🇨🇳: I am the true China, and the island of Taiwan is part of me!🇹🇼: No, I am the true China, and the mainland is part of me!

Which is why there are some countries that do not recognize the People's Republic of China (mainland), and instead recognize the Republic of China (Taiwan) as China.

    My information from:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retreat_of_the_government_of_the_Republic_of_China_to_Taiwanhttps://www.taipeitimes.com/News/feat/archives/2016/12/04/2003660529

  • I was saying "that" is how it is.

Other way around friend capital i is still shorter than lowercase L

This is that. I was referring to the previous comment when I said "that", so I agree with you.

  • That's stupid, the capital letter should be taller than the lowercase; and yet that's how it is in almost every font!

  • Oh OK, you're not trolling.

    You must be joking!

(I've got a MIRV correction missile fueling up in my silo now, ready to launch in case you're not. That's why I'm asking for so much confirmation, 'cause those things are expensive!)
