  • Not everybody has a 9 to 5.

  • All fantastic ideas.

I imagine the furry market is a lot harder to get established in as cosplay due to size.

The automotive market is equally as hard to break into unless you can establish a partnership with an established upholstery company.

Pet clothes are are a more widespread niche market, but the clientele has to be more batshit than furries.

    Drycleaners, big market, great potential.

Rich people pay, but are a bigger pain than pet parents.

If your specialty is seamstress, I guess that is an any harbor in in storm situation. So maybe taking anything n you can get until you find a niche is the strategy?

  • Understandable. Is there any other market that you can pursue that isn't limited by local market demand?

  • That truly sucks.

Do you have the passion, skillset, and tools to do commission cosplay outfits? That can be pretty lucrative, but somewhat hard to get into if you can't get a reasonably influential cosplayer to rep your work.

  • I want every US citizen to enjoy a convenient opportunity to vote and express their will for the leadership of the country and I want the law of the land followed.

I understand that you look at anyone that disagrees with you on anything as being your strawman caricature, but there are all sorts of people that have a variety of beliefs. I didn't vote for Trump, nor would I ever. Your hostility to others who disagree with your feelings and beliefs only push them further away from agreeing with you. Drink some water and go for a nice relaxing walk.

  • Vote by mail addresses a huge obstacle to voting, employment. A lot of people can't take time off to vote.

Opening more voting sites would also be a good idea.

  • Fuck Nestlé indeed. I only know because a grocery delivery accidentally got sent to me and I ended up with a big box of them. It will take an entire year of self loathing to get that shit out my freezer.

Sidebar: I don't know who ordered like $300 worth of junk, and one Lean Cuisine, but I hope the person who ordered the Lean Cuisine is doing ok in that house.

  • They illegally immigrated, they are illegal immigrants. No thesaurus contains the words to change reality.

What word should I use to virtue signal so you feel better reading?

Undocumented immigrant? Immigrating without documents is an illegal act, making them an illegal immigrant.

Undocumented migrant? That is someone who illegally enters the country to work for a period and return home, with no intention of permanent residence, making them an illegal migrant.

Undocumented Refugee? That is an illegal act of immigration.

Undocumented Asylum Seeker? That is an illegal act of immigration.

How will me using softer language make the situation better for illegals? It won't make companies stop exploiting them. It won't give them citizenship. It won't stop them from risking deportation.

This is a meme thread ffs.

  • There are more companies that have been fined recently, I was just giving those two examples of it happening.

The thing is about the fines, they are low, but companies that depend on exploiting illegals can't survive without that cheap labor with their business model. So either they adjust and are good boys and girls, or they go bankrupt. I would rather have a business come into compliance at a higher price point, but going under is the market excising a tumor. So the fines being lower than lethal has a potential upside that creates jobs for citizens.

  • Does he employ illegals?

  • They are, but not enough. Recently two companies, ACSI and Durable Inc, were fined for hiring illegals. ACSI was charged $2m and Durable 200k. Donnie needs to step it up and charge every company that uses exploited labor.

  • Hot Pockets were better when they had the sleeve. They got rid of it and then started saying they have improved the product so that it didn't need the sleeve anymore to get crispy. Clearly a cost-cutting measure they are spinning. They tell you to use an air fryer if you want a crispy crust.

  • They will though, because they don't want to give up control and power as well as all the money that gives them.

They would have to be aware enough to understand that they are not going in an appropriate direction, which would allow them to adjust their strategy to better align themselves with the voter base. That would invalidate the need for a third party, but compromise they idiology they have adopted fervently that has lead to failure at the polls.

  • NZ is not the US. They do not operate the same and are not capable in America's "democratic" system.

  • Are you saying that rape is an acceptable?

  • The decline started in COVID, no recent changes will have any value when kids learn more from tiktok myths and memes.

  • Public education has been terrible for as long as it has existed. American schools are a joke to the developed world.

  • He is a news aggregate with a fake leftist filter and is totally audience captured.

His audience are tankies who justify the actions of Hamas and dismiss any wrongdoing. To paraphrase "I don't care if rapes happened (on October 7th), it doesn't change the situation for me at all."

He lives in a multi-million dollar mansion, wears designer clothes, drives a Porsche, and complains about capitalism.

  • The goalpost was always win the elections. It hasn't moved since 2000, Dems just keep trying to redefine how far the endzone is while they field the B team that the franchise owners like instead of solid players the fans want to see.
