  • picked up ballionaire after watching Northernlion play the game on stream. it is very fun, it's a rouge like paremovedo game where you get all kinds of shit you add to the board. I think I am just utter dogshit at this game though lmao; I literally cannot beat a single damn run, after several hours of plaything this fucking game!!! I always feel I have some kind of decent synergy engine going, and then boom I fail to meet the goal and I'm dead

  • he has reason for such worldviews, but I never liked him either. I feell like all of the party go through growth to try and grow past their indoctrination and or trauma, where Astarion basically just always wants to turn the abuse he felt back on the world, even by act 3

  • that's supposed to happen after you smoke it

  • I love his style of just "hey, you see that background thing, what's the deal with that?". rivers, power lines, buildings, employment statistics in pokemon towns, all such bangers

  • TC put her foot in a struggle session, and made it all a lot worse throwing out joke bans and real bans phrased as jokes, while people were frusrated wih bad communication from admins. likely would not have happened had she not walked right back into being an admin at the exact moment some shit hit the fan around the drunk and dredge tanks

  • did one with the last patch. it's got a lot of flavour text and interesting character stuff if you go dark urge, but I did feel like shit lmao

  • I feel like most the libs I've talked to are pro palestine and ukraine. now ofc, it's stupid to support both the guys being armed with and the ones shot at with US arms, but that seems a common lib take here

  • Modi is heightening the contradictions in India faster than people even thought he could. in the west our unions are mostly dead, even in Europe they're a shadow of what we had in the 80s even. so here nobody pushes back against the new economic order where you own nothing. in India they have unions, they have militancy, and they have a history of socialist movements that still come out in force. I'm maybe naive, but I believe in our Indian comrades that all of this is giving them manpower to fight

  • inshallah

  • I think a lot of people in the western left really overlook how close India is getting to The Cool Zone. sure they have the naxalites and some communists in local government, but those are very regional and India is very big. meanwhile at a society wide level unions have grown, gotten more militant, the cost of living and quality of life have gone down, the mass suicide rate among farmers, theres a lot bubbling across Indian society at large

  • some people just love to look for a snide way to take a dig at others

  • that seems like such an obvious thing to test for. the moon being yellow, or even red, is very common
