    If it has to make money it's going to sell user data and force narratives, and the entire argument that it has to make money allows human beings to shrug responsibility for exploiting their userbase.

  • Even before the collaps of our climate and society became apparent to me having kids didn't sit well with me considering the tens of thousands of kids in our child care system at any given moment.

    Tens of thousands of lives that will be significantly worse, developing addictions and unhealthy coping mechanisms, unhealthy relationships, going straight from the group home to prison or the streets, all of it exists because people would rather selfishly continue their own genetic legacy instead of adopting a perfectly good kid that already exists and is suffering.

    No amount of financial literacy will fix income inequality, we need to redistribute wealth if we want everyone to have the proportional wealth to participate in the economy.
