  • This is also illegal most everywhere.

  • Neither.

  • I wish I could be excited for this, but there are still many things missing or buggy in Wayland.

  • I mean, we're now doing business with the United Arab Emirates, so...

  • Fair enough, but I thought maybe half only, not.... A majority.

  • I agree, and I honestly don't want to go chromium... But Mozilla is making it harder and harder to even want to use their product.

I'm not getting off Firefox/Floorp yet, but Mozilla needs to stop messing this up so royally at every turn...

  • We all kinda knew this was a thing, but... Did we know it was basically all of those pages?

  • Mozilla is turning into the same thing every other big corporations are, including Google. Inflated executive numbers and pay, cutting what made then unique (think of all the FOSS stuff they've killed along the way)...

I'm not jumping to Vivaldi or whatever just yet, but ugh... Their latest push for AI is driving me very close...

  • That's what you get with dozens of new executives and crazy pay packages for the top brass huh?

I'm losing hope. I might just give in to chromium honestly.

  • And are they hiring?

  • Zorin and Cachy are great choices too, but Mint is awesome as well. Anything but Windows 11 lol

  • That's the thing, I'm really not against Wayland. It 100% is smoother than X11, feels more premium in a way. And code-wise, it's far easier to maintain.

But so many missing features make it tough to leave x11 behind. Even if just to switch to it once a week when needed.

  • Then how about we establish an independent commission, fully State-funded, to do the work and to report it publicly, like we do other stuff?

Private sector obviously has gone to 💩

  • Among other things, yeah. I know it's coming, but windows having no idea where they were last time they were launched is a major annoyance. Not to mention a few games that crash on Wayland, and not on X11

  • I got a cool concept... How about we stop subcontracting shit companies that use AI and let them go bankrupt?

  • Boooooh

  • Fecking cowardice

  • Rick Potion #9

  • Ran to the bank?
