Fediverse is worse than Reddit. Mod abuse, admin abuse, disinformation, and people simping for literal terrorists.

  • Norway has thermal energy sources and lots of oil they can sell to subsidize other things.

  • It skews the metrics though. By the title you'd think Germany is already more than halfway through to become carbon neutral, when it is obviously still extremely far away from that goal. People read this and think we're actually doing okay.

  • Crazy stalker. I have no idea who it is. Reported it to the police multiple times but nothing came out of it.

  • Assuming the new app doesn't suck. Vortex was pretty shitty even on Windows. Manual modding is trash because it is impossible to keep track of your mods (unless you're a very casual modder with only a handful of mods), which means eventually you just have to nuke the whole folder and start fresh. That's why you want to use a proper mod organizer.

  • Interesting, and fairly new it seems. Vortex & MO2 kept breaking for me so I kinda stopped bothering with Bethesda games.

  • You're missing out greatly then because most good mods won't be on the workshop at all.

  • Arguably the handheld market is also much more of a niche in comparison to a gaming desktop. In the broader context of the size of the platform the Deck is doing pretty good.

  • I don't believe in "cancel culture" anyway. If I have issues with people, be it for their extremistic political views, or because they're just asocial assholes, then I'm obviously not going to bother watching their content, or buy their products, whatever the case may be. That's been just regular people behavior until the US culture war bullshit made a buzzword out of it when people didn't put up with various MAGA people stuffing their beliefs into everyone's face. Skip forward some years later and we reach the hypocrisy of them doing / advocating to do the same thing regarding left leaning people.

The more concerning matter though is just how many people watch not just people who are assholes behind the camera, but in front of it, like all those "pranksters" and whatnot.

  • Beats me. I keep seeing his stupid ass face in search results that are completely unrelated to my search, and the sheer amount of views. I can't even comprehend as to why people watch this ass. At least now it is somewhat known that he's a scumbag. Unsurprisingly & unfortunately it did not seem to have any effect on his popularity.

  • Watersports & vore.

  • Yeah, that just seems like an invitation for review bombing (the undeserved kind). I'd probably just disable unowned reviews for titles released past a certain date, assuming your hypothesis is indeed the original intend behind it.

  • Das wird anhand der GPS & Lieferdaten kalkuliert und schwankt entsprechend je nachdem wie schnell oder langsam die Auslieferungen stattfinden. Meiner Erfahrung nach aber eher in Richtung später als früher.

  • So gog reviews are from people who didn't buy it?

  • I don't understand why it is called "green"? It's using natural gas as fuel.

  • Same. Steam user reviews seems fairly positive though, which is surprising with how much games get trashed there by the wokeism babies.

Personally I think the trailers look horrid though and I was fed up with those cartoon graphic styles when they came out a couple decades ago already.

If you're looking for a story about friendship & adventure, then I'd rather suggest CrossCode, which is highly "underrated" (not so much by ratings but its lack of exposure).

  • I try to explain this to people...

You mean US citizens. I've had "Americans" chime in on that as well, when I explained that for people who are not from the US, that "America" is not just the US of A but all of the Americas, and that Americans are not just people from the US either.

  • Technically the AfD is actually pro immigration.

But the tone quickly becomes sharper. We have to make sure, says Lüth, that the Federal Republic is even worse off, because that would play into the AfD's hands politically: “If everything went well now (...), the AfD would be at three percent. We don't want that. That's why we have to think about a tactic between: How bad can things get for Germany? And: How much can we provoke? It's like this. (...) It's difficult, very difficult.” All of this was “discussed at length” with Alexander Gauland.

In the end, Lüth even indulges in violent fantasies. Lisa Licentia asks him: “Above all, it sounds as if it would be in your interest for more migrants to come?” Lüth replies: “Yes, because then the AfD will be better off. We can always shoot them all later. That's not an issue at all. Or gas them, or whatever you like. I don't care!”

  • Money can buy influence. Although the multi party system in Germany inherently makes it more protected against meddling, since you'd somehow have to buy out all or at least most major parties. And with where the AfD stands it is hard to find any allies here. The FDP unsurprisingly supported Musk before this article but backpedaled hard right after.

  • I just think that when we got fascism latching on to western governments it might be a more pressing concern than climate change. Not because climate change isn't the main fucking problem, but because they will ignore it.

Again, by that metric you should already act now, because the world is collectively ignoring it.
