I think it has something to do with the person needing something other than a human relationship. Its like those lifesize dolls that some guys are into. They meet needs that are different to a human relationship.
They also have a higher risk of desensitisation and acclamation over long periods during their developmental stages. If kids grow to rely on AI then obviously they will be helpless without it. I wonder if this is how our ancestors felt about grocery store convenience as a modern "technology"?
This is no mistake. The general plot is to create a situation where land can be purchased all across the US at low cost. Then the land will be owned by the wealthy for data centres and corporate owned and governed cities, states and mini nations (e.g. the breaking up of US into smaller corporate nations).
BJJ used to be my method of meditation and focus. Rolling with eyes closed, feeling the situation. Its hard to be distracted when someone much bigger is lying on top of you! Tends to sharpen ones focus.
I play piano. I don't practice, I play. I play to hear the pleasing sounds, not to 'get better' although a byproduct of playing regularly is improvement. When I'm playing, the whole world is tuned out, I see the keys but my mind is focused on the sounds and tonal intervals . I make a lot of mistakes but am nuetral towards them, I simply play parts again and again until it sounds 'right' and I enjoy the process of finding the right notes. I don't read any music or play covers, I just pick a key and use the circle of fifths to improvise melodies and chord progressions into something meaningful and pleasing to my ears.
A nice meditation and breathing exercise: Sit next to a tree. Close your eyes if you want to. Take long slow breathes in and out of your nose. As you exhale, feel the tree breathe in your carbon dioxide. As you breath in, feel the tree exhale oxygen. Do not see the human and the tree as separate, instead watch the one life force that moves between them. Move your body and mind steadily between the life giving inhale and the deathly void of the exhale. Do this until you see the two as one and no longer have a preference for either.
Slow and phased changes to tax legislation to remove incentives with suitable grace and transition periods for people to offload assets would see a dramatic improvement to property prices for buyers. The impact on sellers would be determined by the market but we could expect lower prices due to an influx of volume.
The other issue is that Australia's economy is held up by big banks which are in turn propped up by their mortgage debts. A reduction to property values will see a downturn on the ASX. All the more reason for Australia to reinvigorate its manufacturing footprint and diversify its economics.
Getting rich off of a property portfolio is lazy and unproductive. Try operating a business that is useful to someone or pushing the boundary of innovation. Instead we have all those boomers out there filing away their monthly statements from their property manager saying "YoU JuSt GoTtA WoRk hArDeR!" What a joke.
