Wherever this mythical place is that allows you do do anything with copyrighted material, I guarantee all it would take is paying off the right government official(s) to have it shutdown, no laws needed!
I'm not sure. Current "dumb" TVs do actually exist, just search for commercial TVs. All the major brands make them for commercial applications where the end user has no need for traditional smart apps. Sadly, they cost a bit more (but not by a ridiculous amount) and may not have the latest alphabet soup image tech, but they look fine and work great. They still run an OS, but it's stripped down to the bare essentials, usually just settings and input, not usually any apps. If any apps are installed, they're unobtrusive and geared toward their intended purpose. I've been tempted to buy one, but the larger the TV the wider the price gap. The sweet spot seems to be at 65".
I went with gunplamark's Ultimate Cereal Drybox too. For mine, I did his remix with cmyk's precision single bearing rollers (https://www.printables.com/model/1339511-precision-single-bearing-spool-rollers) instead, which only uses two bearings instead of 4 per box. I also made myself a pegboard adapter using Sy's pegboard pegs and a blank hanger.
Nice! I really like these boxes based upon that cereal box, but you have to watch out, there are copycats of the Wildone. This is the one you should buy (and appears to be the one you used): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NP98YKY.
At first, I accidentally purchased ones by "MCIRCO." Despite having almost the exact same product pictures, they are not the same.
I always liked how the Borg's algorithm to assess nonsense shapes is to throw more Borgs at it instead of being like "Further data is required" and then return to the area where the data was collected. If they couldn't collect it, then run a diagnostic on the Borg that presented it. It's almost like the Borg collective never assimilated any species that had hackers or social engineers in their populations.
Damn! Creators are going to need another Patreon to supplement their Apple-induced Patreon shortfall.
