  • I wonder how this will end. Western economies are starting to get absolutely wrecked as well with never ending inflation it seems. There are a few Ukranian refugees employed at my place and they don't seem to be much optimistic about returning to a stable country. But they also don't want to stay that long over here.

    On a side note, they get treated disgustingly as expected. The people at my place of work are of course working and earning their own income, but they get constant calls from social security departments from the city who are saying they shouldn't work and instead just should collect welfare. The reason for this is that said departments get money for every refugee they provide welfare to. Welfare is a bit lower than what they earn right now (around 2-300 euro per month lower) but they wouldn't have to work. Our company wants them to stay employed and they feel no rush in leaving the company. It's a place where they can integrate into society, but the government would rather have them sitting at home in their own segregated part of town.

  • Because a lot of people have no idea what the sex trade is about. About 99.99% of the women and men and x in this 'trade' are trafficked.

    I'm of the opinion that if you want to have sex with a lot of people you should and if you want to film yourself having sex and upload it for people to watch you should.

    But sex work should be abolished. I always talk to these libs from my own perspective as someone that has worked with victims of human trafficking. They just fail to realize that human trafficking makes up the absolute majority of sex work.

    Most of them just reason from the POV of womens rights to do whatever you want, anti puritan views, feminism etc. but it's just not the reality and it never will be. There is no realistic amount of women/men/x to participate in the sex trade to get to the number of people involved in it now. That's just a liberal fantasy. If this shit was taken serious 99% of the people would escape the trade.

  • I want to add that China is a country of 1.4 billion people. They can't be all wholesome nice commies and some of them are horrible people. Same goes for some views of officials/the party and some of their policies.

    I leave the rest of the discussion to the other commenters who are more knowledgeable on the topic.

  • Not that I doubt you being Chinese and not being a federal agent, but throwing a random Chinese sentence at us and saying you therefore can't be a Fed is a bit weird lmao. Especially given the length the US intelligence agencies go to counter China.

    That being said, we know China isn't perfect. There's a lot to improve. And that needs to happen by Chinese themselves. Critical support is always welcome.
