DoD uses to be called DoW, but was changed to give a better image of the country. Reverting back to DoW under this administration, is not the good sign people think it is.

American here: Costco's food court is amazing, but the shopping experience is absolutely terrible. For such a 'great' company, they only manage to staff less than half the registers as lines form throughout the store.
It is not because they cant find anyone to work there, it's just they want to save as much money as they can by overloading their employees with work/metrics.
No, just your job duties are split amongst your team until you get back. The corporate overlords keep churning, even if your parents or child dies. Don't have enough PTO allocated? Then you'll get fired.
I did IT for a major Tool Manufacturer in the US and this scenario actually happened to me, being the person who went under a mental breakdown.
Same shit my co-workers said to another member on the team, except in her case she chose to be with her children instead of sacrifice her parental time for shareholder profits. I knew when I took my PTO+sick days that my team would said the same behind my back.

This is Republicans soft launching "children yearn for the mines" rhetoric. USA is effectively regressing and removing what originally made this country "great." I fear for my children as they grow older. I can only do so much as a parent to steer them onto a path of least hardship, but Republicans are increasingly making that difficult.

Hmm I have a small 3x3 or 4x4 grow tent; heat mat, lights, in/outflow, and 2 fans circulating the air. During the winter it would be too cold to get any of my peppers to germ as the weather continously dipped below 50 at night. My grow routine would be day time during night so the peppers 'high' would be a smidgen below 60 degrees by the time I woke up.
