Man, i was looking up info about arrow rests for recurve/olympic archery yesterday and stumbled on a website that use some sort of AI fever dream for their images.
One kinda looked like a violins neckbrace (i don't know what those things are called) with some strings attached, but it looked like it should look like a thing but after closer inspection it was actually nothing sensible.
I think we've all seen those images that look like a room filled with itema but when you look at a specific item your mind figures out it's just weird shapes and colors.
I still miss some of it's smaller subs being actually active enough to have a daily chat abiut the certain interest.
But i was banned from inciting violence after pointing out my life was in a weird place for being able to purchase unregistered firearms in a firearm free country, while not making enough to find a place to live (we ended up renting a 14m2 room on 2 fulltime + overtime, incomes)
I appealed, but they didn't have it so i figured i could just make a new account which screwed me over.
My wife was gifted an old pre WW2 Hitler related coin and i got curious so i started to research it's value and origin, my dad kept trying to get me to install some AI app to ask it about the coin.
I stumbled on some very old local currency (1625, from the city i was born in) which was absurdly expensive and from a very specific time in the history of this city when another country occupied it. They were square coins and as it turns out my city has loads more of interesting history that i found through finding other old coins online...a beautiful journey that would've never happened if i took it to AI.
My wife and i got stuck living in 14sqm and currently have 60sqm like it's an absolute palace...they are telling me that 58sqm for one person is tiny?
The stuff i could do with this place if i lived alone, endless options.
Needless to say i struggle with seeing 58sqm for a single person as small.
When money still had some real world value (more income equaled more things in return, which is a thing of the past here. When i make more they just jack up the rent to compensate) we used to have a 100sqm house, which was pretty damn huge but still less than 58sqm per person.
I'm stuck trying to figure out if it's like creamy mushroom soup or they boiled the liquid out of the mushroom soup and made a mushroom soup flavoured hunk of...mushroom soup remains?
Like a thick chunky, overly strong flavoured, very american sounding hunk of processed flavours.
I'm just so tired of ads nowadays, ads for cars i can't afford, ads for crap i'm never going to buy, ads for the supermarket i'm going to no matter if they have some discount...it's all useless and a waste of my time and invasion on my peace.
I bought the devices, i pay for the internet connection and i pay the rent on this house, i decide what makes it inside my house.
I don't need this funny clip my supermarket made to market overpriced holiday food 46 times a day that lasts 60 seconds and is only funny the first time i see it. I'm not going to buy a tiny christmas cake that barely feeds a child for €15, realistically it's value to me is €1,50 compared to my wage and amount of food i get in return. I'm buying store brand m&m's and a loaf of bread like i do all year.
If you can't keep existing without shoveling truckloads of ads into my face, then go bankrupt...i don't give a damn. You're not worth €16 a month to me either or whatever the price is nowadays. Just fuck off i'll get my entertainment elsewhere, heck i might dust off that ps4 and buy used dvd's for 25 cents a piece.
Deals are there, many are not worth the wait and the real (good) deals are often less desireable items.
At least from what i've seen myself.
But i always hope the more expensive stuff gets a discount so i can get something better than what i would've bought otherwise.
Right now there are a couple 4080 super's discounted but it's only like €80 difference for a model i would only buy if the difference was larger, so i almost ended up buying a non discounted 4080 super model.
Modern day life over here requires the internet, our government has taken away options that use paper and replaced it with websites. Same goes for banks.
Please let it be, haha
