To set up your AirPods with an Android phone or other non-Apple device, follow these steps:
On your non-Apple device, make sure that Bluetooth is on (on an Android device, go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth).
Do one of the following:
AirPods 1, 2, or 3, or AirPods Pro (all models): With your AirPods in the charging case, open the lid, then press and hold the setup button on the back of the AirPods case for about 5 seconds, or until the status light flashes white.
AirPods 4 (both models): Open the case with your AirPods inside, hold it next to your device, then double-tap the front of the AirPods case so the status light flashes white.
AirPods Max: Press and hold the noise control button for about 5 seconds, or until the status light flashes white.
When your AirPods appear in the list of Bluetooth devices, select them.
It appears a “serious bug” was discovered in the One UI 7 update after it began rolling out in several countries on April 7, followed by a US rollout on April 10. According to Ice Universe, users in South Korea started reporting issues with unlocking their phones after the update, leading to Samsung pulling the plug on it for now. If you haven’t received the One UI 7 update yet, this suspension could be the reason why.
Just to be clear: Android is NOT becoming closed source! Google remains committed to releasing Android source code (during monthly/quarterly releases, etc.) , BUT you won't be able to scour the AOSP Gerrit for source code changes like you could before.
What are talking about? They're top notch in terms of security, privacy and don't spy on you, like at all! I trust this struggling company, they try to keep their apps bug free
I know but I kinda love grayjay and how I can locally sync my watch history, subs, etc between PC and android. I know there's a feature request for this though
Grayjay ($10 or unlimited free trial, source-available with OSS plugins)
I wish it had DeArrow inside the YouTube plugin like sponsorblock! I know there's someone who made a plugin or you can use a third party app but I was hoping something official. $10 is fair, recently paid for the keyboard after they added multi-language support (was planning to pay and finally did it after this addition)
Which is good (for now). Glad I don't use that shit
