  • That's why you have a personal assistant follow you around!

  • Ummm those two would statements would in fact allow them to install a "anticheat" rookit/kernel program at any time without your knowledge...

  • It's the only way to be sure

  • Microsoft has been pulling this since the 80s... Bill Gates was personally responsible for destroying WordPerfect, dbase, etc competing office software.

  • Yes, most laptops only have one drive. One with two SSDs is very rare, especially in the low end market.

The only real time it wasn't rare is during the SSD introduction. Laptops would have a small SSD(because expensive) and larger normal HDD.

  • Those signs are also there to allow companies to test if they hit a problem employee not keeping their shit under control.

  • I find it amussing that tech bros think the average home user will care.... They'll keep using Win 10 like nothing has changed. I knew people still happily using XP in 2014...

  • Lol I have one! And a square variant sitting on a shelf next to my dining room table.

  • Depends on the state, some require both parties to know the conversation is being recorded. "I'm recording this call" should be enough.

While it "should" be enough for a company "agent" to tell you the account is paid off. Courts tend to be pro business and there's probably language in the contract about mistakes...

  • Wow I didn't know Swype was still around I used that WAY back in the day. Like android 4-5...

  • What's the point? no one is brute forcing a 12-15 password if the login system has ANY login attempt protection anyway.

This seems like one of the extreme overkill things...

  • US you walk on the right side of the pathway, walk way, etc

Unless you're walking on the street itself (no sidewalk) then you walk on the left against the flow of traffic. So you can see cars coming.

Note: as with anything there are exceptions and people that don't follow the guidelines.

  • 100 thousand years of biological drive and evolution? Add on culture and religious drive to reproduce.

One of the earliest ways religions attempted (and still do) become the dominant religion was simply out breeding the other ones.
