I can’t sit my pets down and explain to them what chemo is or that they’re going to have an invasive surgery and may get better afterwards. All they know is that they love me, but they’re in pain. You may question it for a long time afterwards, but if they’re miserable and don’t understand why then keeping them around is more for your benefit than theirs.
I’ve spent way too much money getting care for a sick, young cat because I knew the pain would be temporary and they could get back to their bonded half and recover quickly and I’ve had to put down a dog that could have lived a few more years because their dementia had become so bad they were confused and lost constantly, even when in the same room as I was.
Compassion and love are always important, but you can’t explain to them why they’re in pain, only save them from needless suffering.
Listen bro, listen. You gotta let us pump some sulfur into the atmosphere bro. It’s just temporary bro, just for a little while until we stop burning dino juice bro.
The only reason leftists in the US should be talking about this war criminal is to point out the contradictions and use him as a tool to push people further left by explaining how and why he’s bad. Even before the Reddit shitposting and tattoo revelation a former Blackwater merc who is unrepentant about his military and mercenary service should have been enough to dismiss him as just another imperialist asshole that belongs in a war crime tribunal.
Same thing with Zohran, just point out the contradictions and use him as an example of why the American “left” will go out of its way to fuck up anything even moderately progressive.
Let the libs lib out and reach out to those we can. It sucks and I hate it but American communists gotta work within the confines of the limited political awareness and rabid anti-communist propaganda of American “culture”.
As for non-American just point and laugh at us, we fucking deserve it.
Would Jet Force Gemini and Legend of Dragoon count? I loved those games so much growing up. They had their good and bad, but man their bad could be real fuckin bad.
It’s a lot more recent but I love Civilization: Beyond Earth. It has its good and bad as well but I still love to spin it up now and again and mess around with it.
You lazy commie millennials wouldn’t understand the work ethic of a hot, red-blooded boomer trying to avoid spending any time with his abused and emotionally destroyed Karen of a wife whose only joy is now tormenting minimum wage workers and his kids who don’t talk to him anymore because he’s a brave patriot who speaks his mind and doesn’t give into the woke left.
The only ones I regularly listen to anymore are The Deprogram, True Anon, Blowback, and Ghost Stories for the End of the World.
Sometimes I’ll catch an episode of Rev Left, Proles Pod, Citations Needed, Marx Madness, American Exception, Chapo Trap House, Actually Existing Socialism, or others, but I don’t keep up with them.
I’m sure the DPRK knew. At the end of the article they present the fact that the talks between the DPRK and USA less than a month later fell apart quickly and the DPRK quickly resumed missile testing as some tangentially related fact. I’m sure they had a strong suspicion that it was the US and Trump probably said some dumb shit that confirmed it during the talks they had scheduled so the DPRK dropped it all.
Besides who else but the roided up drug crazed US special forces would shoot civilians then stab them repeatedly to “let the air out of their lungs so they’d sink”?
The aborted SEAL mission prompted a series of military reviews during Mr. Trump’s first term. They found that the killing of civilians was justified under the rules of engagement, and that the mission was undone by a collision of unfortunate occurrences that could not have been foreseen or avoided. The findings were classified.
I love that we’re in the IG Farben & Monsanto have teamed up to invent to invent fun new types of cancer timeline.
If you were to write a book where the company that used concentration camp slave labor and manufactured zyklon b for the holocaust bought out the company that made agent orange and roundup people would think its and over the top gag.
