  • Using flags such as NSFW on non-NSFW posts devalues the flag, which means that next time I might actually unblur something when I shouldn't have because I assumed it was an incorrect flagging.

  • Well I agree in principle (I disagree that AI training is necessarily "stealing"), but downloading copyrighted material for which you do not own a license is textbook piracy, regardless of intent

  • Is there a breakdown per country?

Edit: I was looking for a graph but it was in the conclusion

New renewable energy capacity was dominated by China, with the country accounting for almost 64% of global capacity additions. (What would the industry do without China?) Together, G7 countries accounted for 14.3% of new capacity, while G20 countries accounted for 90.3% of new capacity (of course, 64% coming from China, as already mentioned).

  • Well yeah but shift insert is annoying as hell since the keys are so far apart

  • How is what you quoted "standing up" to anything? Am I missing something?

  • You're getting caught in bad faiths arguments from the right. MtF athletes do not retain any exceptional advantage against cisgender ones.

I believe you when you say you support the LGBT cause, but then please educate yourself on the topic and stop defending this position.

  • Lol

Yeah it is because you don't have to worry about responsive, cross browser compatibility, limiting asset use, accessibility, SEO...

  • You can play soulframe if you're part of their beta-testers. I added it as a non-steam game and I could run it fine with proton

There isn't a lot to play yet though

  • I was surprised to have a fairly unusual setup with fairly unusual peripherals, and everything pretty much worked out of the box, except for one software (philips hue sync) for which there is an open source alternative (huenicorn, and it wasn't built-in as Linux drivers are, because it's specialized and requires a special interface)

  • If Trump doesn't fold soon, we'll be on track for a sequel to the Great Depression.

Even if shipments resumed, and there is no indication of such (that I know of), with the time it would take for freight to make its way to consumers, not to mention the resulting congestion, it be long enough to cause serious trouble. I'd be surprised if the drepression isn't already there, and the symptoms are just about to manifest

  • It's sprouting BTW, it's not dead 😄 though it will take a while for it to be more than a sprout, and it will never have its iconic shape again

  • This is from 2014 in the donbass region, which russia didn't approach until 2022.

  • When you ask for a refund under Steam's 2h/14d policy, it's Steam offering the refund. Past that, the request is passed on the developer

At least that's how I've heard it described, idk for sure

  • They're not considered ferrous because they don't contain iron, if they're considered ferrous in some domain then I suppose it's a jargon use of the term specific to that domain

Edit: it could also be a confusion with ferromagnetism. Ferrous means "that which contains iron" (from Latin ferrum meaning iron), ferromagnetic is that which is magnetic like iron (there are other kinds of magnetism)
