China is not some great Socialist Anti-Imperialist country. China's only concern is its economy and Taiwan, everything else is secondary. They'll just issue some strongly worded condemnation when the US bombs Venezuela.
For the US, everything around that region concerns China. Vietnam is still considered a strong strategic country for the "containment" of China. The scaremongering of the DPRK plays perfectly into keeping South Korea and Japan in the strong grip of the US to counter China.
US aircraft carriers will be easy targets if an actual war takes place around Taiwan. China has plenty of hyper sonic aircraft carrier killer missiles and as we've seen in the last Iran-Israel war, you might be able to intercept some of these missiles, but just a few getting through will sink the carrier along with all the jets and crew.

I thought I was the only one who thought the Seinfeld characters were all jerks. Wasn't a big fan of the show, but few episodes were funny. I did watch the final episode and I guess the writers also knew the characters were unpleasant and were jailed for being jerks.
