  • I'm going to follow this to glean interesting food combinations, as it seems they're being posted below. 🙂

I think the comic doesn't account for all the food experimentation going on in the world. One bias -- people only post their wins. Not their many, many "L's".

For example, I eat cottage cheese as part of my diet. I also consume this supplement called Zena 'Supergreens'. One night, I thought hey...cottage cheese gets paired with fruit. Why not pair it with this fruity Supergreens powder, see what happens? Nasty, gloppy, with clumps of overly sweet coagulated powder. Do not recommend.

Anyway I'm sure people all around the world are doing wacky experiments just like that every single day. And if we're lucky, they post good ones on the internet & we can all try it out. 🙂

  • I am also curious, want to know the cheese. 🤔

What about finely sliced apple, mixed with honey & cheese??? 🤔🤔🤔

  • See halfsack's comment. To elaborate on that point, actually good & competent drivers have many responsibilities. Among them is to see....and be seen.

As others have said, a lot of these buggies are all black. And they're puttering around the road, on a dark nights, well under established speed limits. 2 vehicles traveling at very different speeds, the slow one is hard to see. That's just begging for an accident.

At least where I live, it is technically illegal to drive without headlights on when it's raining. If windshield wipers are required, so are headlights. This is to bolster visibility in poor weather conditions. Also just headlights in general, you can get pulled over & ticketed for driving at night without headlights. Why should the Amish be a dangerous exception to the rules of the road??

This alone: Roads funded by taxpayers, which IIRC the Amish are largely tax-exempt. Thus: if they wish to travel on our roads, they need to abide by our rules & not make the roads more dangerous.

To be slightly more accommodating to Luddites, we could put hi-vis reflective tape on the buggies. But again as others have said, the Amish have all kinds of workarounds/exceptions/justifications to get what they want. They have mobile phones. Some have snowmobiles. They have generators, so they're not "tied into the worldly grid" but they generate & use electricity. So maybe they can get used to the idea of battery-powered lights on their buggies, for visibility.

  • Hilarious, and this obviously needs to be in shirts that go hard.

  • ...Oh, no! Anyway. Just giving people one more reason to finally make the switch to Firefox or something different.

Google Chrome warns about disabling uBlock Origin. I warn Google Chrome that they're being a little bitch & they're going to lose users.

  • I have seen just lots of trash, but honestly I'm not one to talk.... I've seen house numbers hidden from view by decorations, often wreaths. Basically: Merry Christmas! Go fuck yourself.

There was one lady that had probably a hundred+ boxes on her front porch, stuff gets ordered & apparently never taken in. Old, molded boxes. You just add to the pile & walk away.

  • We believe there is a biological sex difference. I've been hearing this for about 8 years, Google it. They say the x chromosome is coded for more immune system boosters; women have 2 & men, obviously, have just the one. They also think testosterone, while excellent for daily tasks & power, might lend some immuno-suppressant qualities.

  • Oh idk about all of that. I don't go to Char bucks unless I have to. I do know this: holy shit they have some good benefits for their employees. I think they pay well for schooling, and I know for a fact a young man quit his job at a lumberyard to become a Starbucks barista. Why? Among other things, to get good healthcare for his entire fucking family. By being a Starbucks barista!

...it doesn't really make sense to me, either, but he did what he had to do & seemed generally happy with the arrangement.

  • I love recycling, but I am also skeptical. Not even of the infrastructure itself, idk I guess the idea could work, but the people are so fucking stupid. And lazy. This will lead to failure.

I see people throwing away full, half-full cups. Even just cups of ice, that ice melts, now there's water. All this sticky-sweet refuse will attract insects. What's going to become of this gross mess? Who's going to clean it up for reuse? Will it be cleaned well enough?

  • Nah it's great, just eBay search for Shark double edge razor blades. There's plenty for everyone!

  • Starbucks goes pretty left. Shops generally speaking idk i think you're right...now the roasters, the bean brokers, the plantations...I've seen bits of left ideology here & there. The main thing I care about is: can you make a good bean? Does it taste good? There was one bean out of Africa, had all this FairTrade feel-good stuff behind it. Tasted a cup of the brew & I'm like...pack it up, boys. This isn't even good coffee. ¯°_o)/¯

  • Buh dum tssss

  • You need to understand the mindset, the culture, the reason it was even created. It's not their most profitable line, but it's not about that, anyway. It wasn't created to make profit; it's a real product born of a joke. Daily Wire said men & women are different, a handful of people complained to Harry's Razors, Harry's ended their business with Daily Wire.

It was initially created solely so men didn't have to buy from Harry's. I would argue Gillette as well, but Harry's for sure, that's what they launched their product on & they bought IHateHarrys.com & has it redirect to Jeremy's Razors.

  • The razors are actually pretty good. They're solidly on-par with comparable brands. All designs should be ergonomic, human friendly.

I generally agree, I love me a good DE safety razor. 👍🏻

  • There are so many out in the wild, I bet you could pick up a used Brother laser printer off FB Marketplace. As many others have said...any one will do. I also have one, they're great.
