  • thank you for your explanation, It seems i made a lot of people confused. After a bit of explanation it seems like 'multiseat' is the term for what i had in mind.

    i'll check those distros and hopefully i will be able to use linux full time

  • I'm going to give ph a benefit of the doubt. the missile system talked about is a mid range missile and afaik is incapable of delivering nuke payload or even effective if they added some nuke payload in it. they only have 16 of it installed, the rationale i think is that it may give them some ground to ask china to stop harassing fishing vessel without escalating and makes west taiwan looks bad without much compromise to its naval defences.

    another angle to look at it is that maybe ph is trying to distance to the us influence and maybe its just a politic talk to get other source of defence system capabilities from other part of the world.

    personally, i think south east asia and taiwan need its own harassing system developed and deployed to counter west taiwan harassment. nobody want escalation but they should be able to give same response if provoked.

  • i do analog photography for a hobby, in the grand scheme professional analog photographers only account for like less than 1 percent and current film manufacturers are only able to exist because some high profile film directors insist on shooting film (think nolan) and film students. when theyre no longer around film will die soon.

    there is almost no new film camera produced and the price of film keeps increasing to unreasonable prices.

  • i once read a theory that says (i havent checked the validity of this claim) the time required for dna mutates and evolves to the current complexity on earth predates earth by a long shot so it assumes that at one point after the big bang everywhere on the universe is basically a habitable zone and life can be practically found anywhere. assuming some of the building blocks keep on arriving on optimal condition later on.

  • im not a gardener or have any experience in gardening. but can you just use steel wire vertically and nylon horizontally so when the time to trim them down you just cut (i assume you use some kind of power tool) vertically along the steel wire?

  • i think he mean how korean males are at a disadvantage because mandatory military service. singapore has something similar but the rift is not as extreme as korea. korean males really despise feminism movement both because of that and cultural hierarchy. moon channel discussed this topic in length if youre interested

  • i dont know where you live but these can go below $500 and have 50km range. these things are huge in south east asia so if you can reasonably import them then i highly suggest research them and consider them. these e bikes also have in bike configuration called cyrusher in western i think but its way more pricier. if you can, try getting them from asian vendors because its way way more cheaper
