  • Well, I listed multiple aspects that would be a compounding factor. Overall, males are more conservative than females in the western surveys done. Furthermore, the majority, by a long way, of violent assaults are perpetrated by males.

Add to that the increase in violence perpetrated by right wing groups in recent years, the odds are good that she was targeted.

  • Female PM from 2019 on, social Dem, assailant was male… I have some guesses…

  • This is only gonna happen more.

  • 3D scan them, cast them, send them back.

Geez, somehow I didn’t even realize that they were named after the guy who stole them, not where they were taken from or anything about the culture they were made in. How gross is that?

  • I’ll take the ficus in the middle.

  • Well, it is better than a majority. Still disheartening.

  • New thought: set the stl up, drop it through the floor of the build plate to only print the stupid area. That narrows it down to wobble or z binding. Z hop could help a bit with wobble.

  • So, this seems counterintuitive, but slightly loosening the part that attaches to the x axis can help as well.

For clarity, you loosen the brass fitting on the x axis that attaches the rod to the x axis.

  • Z binding, I think. Your Z axis is binding up either due to issues with that area of your screws or overheating of the motors (less likely). Lubrication can help unless there is an issue of the screws being warped.

Edit: what machine are you using?

  • I mean, we’ve been hearing about security concerns for the application itself since it first came out.

  • I mean, absolutely hyperbolic, but, as is hyperbole, I was using it to make a point. There seems to be a new story about every other day about sewage in the water.

  • Electric, water, solid waste, internet, mail, and healthcare should all be pubic goods owned by the people and run for them. This seems to be a poster child for that.

Dear me, and the conservatives want more of this privatization?!

  • Ok, what the hell is going on in the UK that every single water system is basically fucked?

I keep checking to see if all of these problems are an only one area, but it seems to be over multiple. How is this just now being an issue?

  • LET’s PARTY!! YAH!!

(Side note, I can’t wait to show that to my kids…)

  • Darn nanny state! I wanna bleed out my eyeballs AND my rectum!!

  • Baulder’s Gate 3

  • Thanks for introducing this artist. Such an intense mood from the’s paintings. The figures seem so still, the background so active. It is very interesting.

  • As someone with 4 degrees, a high IQ, and the availability of YouTube, I would still never touch anything more complicated than changing out an outlet, and even some of those are a bit risky, depending on the situation.

I yield the floor to the sparkies.

In every realm, those who think they know things out of their field of expertise, just because they have a field of expertise, are typically both wrong and unsafe.

  • Oh, anything beyond fixture maintenance and replacement is plain difficult at best and extremely hazardous at worst. But we were talking about toilets, I thought.

I’m a big fan of division of labor, as no one person can be even adequate at all things DIY.
