Two state solution (which has clearly just been a cudgel to steal more palestinian land)
Or
Removing all non-Palestinians from the land and returning it to Palestinians (the logistics seem a little ugly to me)
I'm actually a little surprised that people are taking issue with his statement. It's not a high bar, obviously, but it seems to me like a step above most US politicians. If they can avoid animals now (which they can, and do), they can improve that detection and/or logic for cats that have disappeared under the car and not reappeared. That’s not even an assumption, much less a “big” one.

Yes I am biased against driverless cars. They are a new technology that is being tested without our consent, and they are dependent on corporations rather than humans being held accountable when things go wrong (something that we currently struggle with as a society). The fact that you think I should default to the contrary is strange to me.
No one argues self-driving cars are “needed.” The point is, they are a significant improvement over humans when developed correctly.
I'd rather gravitate towards a driverless society where we invest in public transit and infrastructure rather than further ingraining cars into our society and adopting private companies (who use us as unwitting beta testers) as the solution to our problems.

I've also been confused about this, but this is my take on it.
You're correct that they are making these changes to Android and not AOSP. This means that an OS like Graphene or e/OS/ will still be able to use sideloaded apps and other appstores like F-Droid.
I think the reason everyone is freaking out about this, is that it hurts appstores like F-Droid. It has a chilling effect on apps that are released to alternative app stores and may cause those stores to fail over time, thus killing FOSS apps at the point of distribution.
That said, this is also over my head technically, so I would love if someone more knowledgable could weigh in.
