Eh there’s a lot of companies making jrpgs constantly they just aren’t marketed as heavily or don’t have the same budget as square. Square has also been consistently bad at releasing some of the worst 0 effort pc ports - some of which, like this one, verge on nearly unplayable. At least the other companies have tried a little more and improved, even if they’ve been terrible in other ways.
Yeah it’s cutting out one of the middle assholes so it’s one instead of two. From the stuff I get recommended on Amazon it’s pretty clear they don’t care about false advertising either. Cant help you with your vpn problem though
The encode usually varies by region so sometimes whoever did the jpbd may have done a better job, but that’s going to be on a case by case basis. Often the good re least groups will use multiple regions to create a release better than all of them. As far as the actual content, probably not unless it’s like a Japan only rerelease or something
It’s consistent, they think there’s two genders and they conform to those roles. Men are strong and have a penis, women are weak and do not. If they see a strong woman they’re not saying being strong makes her a man, they’re saying because she’s strong the only way that makes sense to them is that she must be a man (with a penis) in disguise.
