yeah the weasely language stuck out to me too. They technically claimed that the invasion and kidnapping of Venezuela's President was a "law enforcement" action, so if any invasion happens I would be willing to bet that they'd say the exact same shit. "We're going after the cartels, and Sheinbaum is the most notorious cartel leader since el Chapo", etc.
Do you feel the same way about professional sports? If so then we just disagree but if you put esports in a different category then that's a contradiction you need to examine.
The year is 2027. The world as we know it is unraveling after fifteen years of economic meltdown and widespread global conflict over dwindling natural resources.
A once proud America has fallen, her infrastructure shattered and military in disarray.
I play sisters and they've got a lot of cool stuff unfortunately one of the best things they have is also one of the stupidest looking things in the entire model range although to be fair they also gave a very similarly stupid looking thing to the space marines so
I preferred it when they were called "witch hunters" and not "aDePtA sOrOrItAs". I played that one codex for sixteen fukken years, talk about savings!
Pykrieg is a python engine for playing Guy Debord's Le Jeu de la Guerre (A Game of War), it can be downloaded for free and played from the terminal with these commands (assuming you already have python 3.8 or higher on your system):
linux/mac users:
pip install pykrieg
windows users:
pip install pykrieg[console]
playing the game:
python -m pykrieg.console
The next step for me is implementing an AI opponent, then cleaning everything up to make the engine more usable. The intent is that you can use it kind of like python-chess, where you let the engine handle validating all of the game logic and build your own UI and stuff around it, so I'll make a separate program that demonstrates that functionality with some royalty free music and simple graphics, then the last thing I'll add is the ability to define custom maps, units, and rules.
