Lemmy seems to be the only place with actual people for the most part. I worry so heavily for the idiots of the world that can't discern robots from people. They're really going to fall for what a programmed machine has to say.

It's a matter of rhetoric a lot of the times with the states. We don't invade countries, we defend democracy. Our government doesn't spy on us, they protect homeland security. Etc etc
There's so much "work" done in our capitalist society that is actively creating a drag on our lives, all to extract more money from us to the billionaire class. It will never be enough for them. Bezos and Fuckerberg would own slaves if the state allowed them to.
