  • Dude I spite my corpo by never even bothering with a 5 star junk. Most of my managers hate me cause of it but tacking on 'pls give me 5 stars uwu' and the end of a transaction seems even less human than anything I wouldve said prior. Nowadays in work in a part of the store that doesn't have a review on the receipt so its not a problem to me, but ive always seen word of mouth as a better source than any kind of review. So I'd rather give a genuine experience and hopefully have folk tell their friends about the nice gal that helped them or whatever.

    But no apparently I'm doing it all wrong according to this guy were arguing with lol

  • Idk I start out all my interactions with a positive neutral perspective and because I tell a customer I can't take a return because the website says so I guess that means its 100% in their right to yell and berate me.

    I genuinely have decent interactions most of the time because I DO treat people well, but I certainly don't get the same respect back.

  • Yknow somehow I had a great time reading. Written word is the most reliable way to stabilize visuals in my mind, which is why I've taken to writing as a creative outlet as well.

    Its been so long since I've genuinely read anything but I think thats the closest I ever got to actually visualizing something. Described well enough and my mind can really conjure up an image for once.

    Its why I tend to like slow and detailed scenes. I can spend a lot of time writing a scene that only lasts eight minutes

  • my mom'll never get a side-loaded washer for that exact reason. Clothes also may get a musty smell even when cleaned in one. We've got sensitive noses so it'd be unbearable for us

  • I've got aphantasia and honestly the comic kinda reminds me of how I feel 'left out' but I also spent most of my life trying to draw and only found out about the term a few years ago making me realize I spent so much time following a dead end. that's just a me thing tho

    the next problem though is the asinine amount of people who bring their boxes to customer service stuff and expect the store to take care of it the trash can would only work if people were either asked to break down their boxes (unlikely) or if it was mechanically able to break down the boxes for the person. then there's the next problem of making it idiot proof because crunching machines and flesh don't work well together.

    sorry I'm extra salty because I just got back from a shift were I deal with these kind of people for the whole day. there's no winning.
