My empathy for America was lost decades ago when literal children were gunned down in Sandy Hook.
We didn't collectively mourn as a nation and do anything. Instead, some went to defend guns. Others went to blame the victims, the parents who are literally holding their lifeless child in their hands.
I understand your "life choice", but I really hate that you're just putting your Christianity out there for everyone to see. keep it behind closed doors.
NPR has been targeted by republicans for reporting on facts in the past few years that they've been scared shitless and now report on the most shallowest softest version of news to avoid offending anybody.
Option 1: say nothing. A lot of politicians did this.
Option 2: be vague. We saw a lot of this BS during the pandemic to somewhat appear like you care. "We are in trying times."
Option 3: not include the "a terrible loss for the business and health care communities". So he is rubbing shoulders.
That's 3 options right there. Am I'm not even a political strategist.
