I have a buddy working security in IBM. He says the same thing. It's not about security but rather how much money is gained/lost from being secure enough. Even when shit hits the fan, the fees imposed on them are less than the cost to pay employees to implement a solution to stop it from ever happening. So they don't get tasked to prevent it. Just deal with it when it happens.
Unless you're Canadian, then you can just raw dawg pirate whatever with no repercussion. IP cannot be associated to an identity here. At worst you get cease and desists notices emailed to you by your ISP but you can ignore them, ISPs are obligated to forward these. Especially notices from companies outside of Canada.
It all depends on where you live, in Poland they don't care unless you're pirating polish productions. Then the fist of God crushes you. Allegedly
I got a Brondell bidet from Costco for like $80. It's just the seat and it's pretty fancy slick with how it self cleans and hides/reveals itself while having no electricity going on. Just have to make sure that if you want hot water you'll have to connect it to the sink waterline. I didn't do that and the cold wasn't a problem after a few uses getting comfortable.
Nix is my daily driver OS and the most stable experience I've ever had with any distro. But God do I fucking hate using Nix. Such a horribly documented experience for something so config heavy. Wtf were they thinking.
I have no idea what problem juck store solves that isn't covered by steamdeck, lutris, heroic, or emudeck. It must be an incredibly niche problem. Best of luck to them.
A lot of the hate was also from trailers showing off completely fucked bugs. Floating and/or frozen characters, unloaded assets, etc technical disasters
It would be incredible to have a self hosted web UI but that's a tall ask.
Instead I've been using Quartz to generate a static site from hot reloading which seems to cover this end to a degree.
Just one is enough in this thread. We are genuinely curious and engaged. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
