If a Nazi is allowed to own a major platform then our only recourse is to delete our accounts. Because they aren’t going to stop a Nazi from owning it. Laws aren’t going to change to undo the purchase. Musk outed himself as a Nazi and now the only thing left to do the burn the platform.
This apologist centrist position is disguising and only enables the oppressor.
The masses are only on these platforms because the people they want to follow are on there. It’s absolutely ridiculous thinking that if all the content creators would switch platforms that people wouldn’t follow them.
Anyone left on that platform is actively going against deplatforming Nazi Musk and is hindering any actual discussion of progress in politics and human rights.
Countering right wing narratives doesn’t work on platforms they control. It’s only keeping their spaces legitimate and increasing their revenue.
