  • Started way back with the original Demons Souls when that launched with the physical game manual included along with the soundtrack. It was certainly a wild experience trying the first of what would become a whole genre back then when everything was a God of War, Uncharted or Cod ripoff.

    I think it’s mostly my early exposure to the games and getting to see them evolve that has most affected my experience with new souls games.

    Wish they would have continued with the intricate and interwoven level designs instead of the inevitable generic open world. Removing the solo invasions also took a lot of the fun away from the original games.
