  • I mean. I guess this is better than rejection. But I sure as fuck wouldn't want my dad texting me memes about juicy pussy or whatever

  • Our Skynet isn't going to nuke us because it thinks we're a threat, it's going nuke us because it had Terminator 2 in its training data and works out that's just what it's supposed to do

  • Just u wait, one day tails is gonna eat all the towerls and then you'll see, you'll all see

  • The fun thing about the flood is that if you spun around and fired off the shitty little assault rifle for about one second, that whole crowd would pop into brown dust

  • Had a great idea, tabbed out to write it down, dissociated for 5 mins trying to remember why I tabbed out, gave up in frustration, and the same instant I loaded back into what I was doing before I remembered my idea. Just happened to me a few minutes ago, 2nd time was the charm though

  • What a reach

  • Didn't pretty much everything go up? Gotta power those datacenters somehow

  • Their whole M.O. is voting for policy that makes things worse and then blaming the party that has no power for their problems. They haven't "thought through" how it's gonna end in the first place; as long as they can pretend to be correct right now, their egos will never let them change their minds.

  • La EEUU ha capturado una naranja madura? Que es significa?

  • I don't agree with them, but I do see the logic. Send back a bunch Americans who saw good reason to leave and perhaps they'll be forced to try to make it more like wherever they fled to.

Or it's just vindictive "Trump deports people so we deport people" idiocy, idk

  • Oh I dunno, it only has to be new to me. I've spent the last few days swapping around some GPUs that came out circa 2010, seeing if I can get them working with folding@home. Fun enough as it is, but I'm sure it would have been way more fun with Windows.

    they didn't work

  • Sorry, the installer you used played ads while you waited? Like, with audio? Where the fuck did you find that thing? Scrolling text for AMD's other products, sure, but I've never downloaded anything so egregious from AMD's website

  • Also something to remember, if you really need Windows back it can be reinstalled almost as easily as any Linux distro. You flash an .iso to a USB, download massgrave, and you're set.

For sure the ideal is not needing Windows at all, but as one of those people who do need it and find myself reinstalling it fairly often (niche VR hardware), it's easier to make the leap to wipe a Windows install when you know you can get it back without too much fuss.

  • Zero of those guys get taxed for that reason. How many billions of dollars are going untaxed into the hands of the wealthiest people so the government can cancel this solar project and deny healthcare to that worker?

  • If it ruined him, it did so before he had anything to do with Tesla.

That Tesla started with reasonable (if misguided) intentions, I can believe. But only before Musk, who was born rich, got involved.

  • of course i know, or id have put my money where my mouth is, and ram alone is too pricey for that now. id have to get a new motherboard too. i love my op cpu, this pc rocks when it's working (which is 99% of the time), but when training time comes it's still frustrating that the new shit is so busted for me
