  • My Super-name would have to be Shitstorm

  • Driver less cars, because cars in the US have less safety regulation and laws applying to them, so the US is likely to continue trying to make them a working technology. Planes already have alot of automation, but law requires a human pilot with alot of training.

  • At this time of year I imagine alot of peppermint and pumpkin spice flavors

  • My aunt only ever knew one thing about me, that I grew up liking Harry Potter. First I got all the books, split across two years. Then I got all the movies as they came out, up to the 5th one. After that I was apparently too old for her to know what I liked, I got a gift card to a gas station for 3 years in a row. I mean hey $20 in gas wasn't a totally awful thing as a late teenager, so I guess it could have been worse.

  • I feel bad for the kids, those candles must have been waxy and disappointing.

  • Her(ule)o

    Jump
  • It's pretty common practice to do when an inmate is going to be outside prison walls for transportation or court trips. At least in NY it is.

  • The neat part is, you don't.

  • Next to the microplastic.

The San Francisco medical examiner's office determined his death to be suicide and police found no evidence of foul play.

Does anyone else find it statistically significant how often whistle blowers commit suicide within a few days of releasing information or making a statement?

  • You can eat anything once. If your brave enough.

  • Oh sweet, man-made horror beyond my compression

  • This is plainly insane.

The Flying Spaghetti Monster has decreed to me that VPN use is totally cool and his worshipers should feel ok using them. 🍝

  • Dirty Laundry by Richard Pink, Roxanne Emery. Rox has ADHD and Richard is neurotypical. The book has both their perspectives and how they meet challenges together from a place of understanding the view point of the other person being different from their own.

  • This hits like a cyberpunk dystopia

  • Any kind of surge pricing by for profit companies providing basic needs should be illegal full stop

    Fixed that for you

  • When your cat is so big chonk you immortalize with sculpture so future generations will understand "Oh Lawd He Comin'!".

  • Read Era is technically free, but I paid for premium years ago and have never regretted it. I can open any kind of uncorrupted book file, from the Amazon reader format to PDF to epub, and everything else I've ever come across. It has a great search function, and the ability to file a book into a custom 'Collection'. You can edit the details of a book, like adding Author or pusblisher info, add your own personal notes to a page or highlighted quote, see an aggregate of all your highlights in a particular file, and adjust the font, background color, and contrast to your hearts content.

I make my whole family use it now, cause I love it so much and Premium works on Family share.
