  • They're so far up each other's asses and whacked outta their gourds on whatever drugs that they're honestly out of touch with reality. Gonna be a cold, cruel morning when the light of day finally reaches them.

  • 100% this kind of techbro need to be cool and liked is one of the main drivers behind why our nation is fucked right now. Zuck, Musk and all of the other guys flipped right when people called them out on legitimate bullshit because they could find easy validation among the MAGA rubes, MRA choads, and conspiracy nutters. They sold out their platforms and the country for a tiny dose of external validation. Fragile little man-children.

  • Most Republicans think ADHD is caused by liberal parents who don't beat their kids enough, they're silent because they approve.

  • Zuck's eyes always look like they were cut out of his original body and hastily glued into his current one...

Also, fuck him and Meta for this bullshit. Greedy cowards.

  • I mean, you couldn't get him to look any more lobotomized if you tried. 10/10.

  • Yup. People seem to still seem to believe that public opinion will somehow stop these assholes. It won't, it'll just get them to sic their fan boys on whatever source is reporting that opinion and push the propaganda more.

  • It's the memory hole. Except they don't have to burn anything because it's all digital.

  • Granted...

However, the lyrics seem to be sung from the point of view of someone who turned to crime after the system failed them, and the Clash make it sound defiant and powerful despite the outcome.

It's time to settle some grievances with the Law.

EDIT: I mean, just imagine that first guitar riff coming in right after someone kicks Thomas square in the nuts as the opening salvo... beautiful.

  • I Fought the Law - The Clash.

  • That's what we found out.

My wife enjoys her work, finds it rewarding, etc. etc. and has never been really content as a homemaker. My job is alright, but I don't feel any real passion for it, and I don't need a work atmosphere or to be around a lot of people to stay engaged. I'm happy just keeping things organized and running smoothly in my own little corner of the world.

I make just a little less than we need for her to stay home, and she makes peanuts in comparison.

It really hacks me off. She works in education, what she does is far more important to the well-being of society than what I do. If our paychecks were reversed, and they honestly should be reversed, I'd be happy to stay home or work part time but it's just not financially feasible.

  • Dude, me too, and I would kill at it.

Sadly, based on skills and the job market where we're at, I can make more working.

  • Wallace. Wallace probably doesn't give a fuck anymore, and once you gain his trust, is going to say some hilarious shit as a result.

  • It's a feature, not a bug. Part of the plan all along. If it weren't for the charges getting dropped, I'd say it's the whole plan.

  • He rants about the FDA suppressing things big pharma can't patent... Did they not develop and patent these?

  • Yup.

One headline after another about how much trouble Trump was getting himself into by pulling stunts like this, and little to no consequences for it.

I got a sneaky suspicion that the "Liberal Media" actually loves him. They can make millions on low effort rage bait headlines for the next four years.

  • That and self-promotion. Never forget that people like him have a pathological need for attention. It's pure speculation, but I can imagine that when buying Tesla and promoting it as his own, he expected that he'd be hailed as a savior by those concerned about the climate. When the cracks started to show and the people began to rightfully critize him, he pivoted to another group of rabid fan boys. I would hazard a guess that as long as he gets a steady supply of money and praise, he doesn't really care about any of the issues he's currently championing, he just needs someone to make him feel popular. You'd almost pity him, except for the fact that he's willing to fuck over millions just to feel better about himself... so fuck Musk.

  • Absolutely. Musk and RFK look uncomfortable, Junior barely knows where he is as usual, and Trump looks relaxed and pleased. You know exactly who's idea this was.

  • It's once again time for me to chime in and recommend "Amusing Ourselves to Death" by Neil Postman. The man was a prophet.
