One thing I'm seeing everywhere is just portions of the possible actions. Why is do so many others hide the save/bookmark/star icon from their interfaces? There's tons of room. It's weird.
Someone needs to tell PieFed when you select text on a phone browser, a balloon notification pops-up, with options to search and the like, covering PieFed's options to edit said selected text. This is because they put their text editing options on top, unlike others who have learned from this mistake.
Edit: Just realizing what I'm responding to is probably just the style of another instance. I'm looking at Litely-compact theme on https://slrpnk.net/ and seeing similar.
We definitely received several notices all over the 'verse. I've been checking out multiple alternatives. The only way someone is unaware of the closure is if they're not active. In any case, what's to worry about? One day, some inactive users will not be able to log in to a closed instance. They'll have to join somewhere else.
This is the hill they're willing to die on, all for this one guy, who they clearly made a mistake with. If they cared at all about the optics, they'd go through the charade of preserving the Constitution. There is no scenario where Donald the fat fuck Trump has not violated his presidential oath.
