  • The video game industry has it's own definition of what an "AI" is, which is very different than everywhere else.

  • How is AI a marketing term for LLM? Aren't LLMs neural networks, which is an AI technique? It sure bugs me how everyone suddenly started to use the word "AI" exclusively to refer to LLMs, but the term is not wrong either.

  • Making using car uncomfortable and unreliable should push people to abandon it for other means of transportation.

  • I think what you described here is epicureanism, not hedonism.

  • If there is enough deflation, that dollar could actually be worth billions in today's dollars!

  • I'm saying they could tell generalities to the AI, like "this is a dish we serve at a restaurant", or give the description in an other language if it's available. Not to give a full english description of the item. The only reason I can see for such an output would be a mistranslation coming from the title alone with no context whatsoever.

  • It's probably caused by a mistranslation to begin with. The person "writing" this might not have the language skills to translate by themselves. Or as someone commented, that might have been done automatically by doordash.

  • Not at all. When you build your query, instead of asking the AI something like "give a description for chicken pops", tell it "describe chicken pops, considering it's food served in a restaurant.". You can also feed it a photo of the thing and this kind of issue should be solved. And also, check your thing before posting on your website. Still faster to fix the few error than doing everything by hand.

  • Or maybe give the AI enough context to do a good job and check the result before posting. AI can work fine, it's the users who are stupid.

  • Just make sure to break it the right way, otherwise you might see an upside down computer (!)

  • You can't say that! Solipsism is a sin! Also, what do I do with all these rings? Is the score meaningful to begin with?

  • Ceci n' est pas une image.

  • Clearly, Trump is unfairly criticized for the deportation if he needs to call the marines just to do the same things democrats always do. He's the real victim here.

  • Mailed advertisements should be opt-in. So wasteful to begin with. I don't care about old people who need this to go shopping because they can't use a computer to save their lives. Get a subscription and leave me alone because I won't want it.

  • Where I live, the sponge is square. Tells us nothing about the pants.

  • Given that person already found a new job, if they plan to keep it for long, the previous company's record won't be useful anymore.

  • Remember to press the power button (!)

  • I would even say: Big talk > small talk
