I’ll investigate when I get home, but yeah it might be the shaders as well

Nope, PC. But honestly now that I know of the feature it won’t be an issue anymore. In fact, as many have pointed out, it can be very useful if something is messed up. Given that the distro is atomic that chance is slim, but still.
Ah then I don’t know what steam was installing XD. It did download and install something before installing Valheim, so I assumed it had to do with compatibility. Either way, I’m just happy that it works, and works well :)
Sums up my experience here pretty well too XD
That is indeed good to be aware of, thank you!
Oh I not bashing on the feature, don’t worry. I was just very surprised when my computer seemed to freeze XD.
Out of curiousity, what kind of use cases do/did they have?
What Remains of Edith Finch comes to mind for me.
In the game, you play Edith Finch going back to her family home. It was home to multiple generations of the Finch family. This family has a serious case of bad luck, and most of them didn’t get very old. As Edith, you explore all of the rooms and see the final moments of the person who used to live there.
It is not a horror game - but it is haunting, in a sense. If you enjoy good stories and writing, give it a try. It’s only about 2 hours, and best played in a single sitting. It’s also on sale regularly.
Because their fellow nazis will retalliate in force
They really want to pick up where they left off huh
1670 (Polish)
A satirical comedy following a Polish lower nobleman, his family, and a few of the serfs. The nobleman (Jan) wants to secure his legacy and increase his status/power, but doesn’t do a great job. The characters are very well made, and the story is very ridiculous.
Norsemen (Norwegian, but in English)
Also a satirical, dark comedy about vikings. This one primarily relies on absurdism for its humour.
Both are on Netflix (which is sadly American, but I’m sure there are alternative ways of watching).
Yeah exactly. I wonder how Trump would’ve responded if anyone in the room asked him if he would have used diplomacy had he been president during Pearl Harbour or 9/11. I’d have loved to see him squirm his way out of that one after he stated that Zelensky needs to be open for concessions in exchange for peace.
“Germany launches a preemtive strike against Poland”
It certainly has downsides in that regard, I will not deny that. However, if you want something that Just Works™, it is a very good option in my (admittedly limited) experience.
To add, if OP is looking to use the laptop for gaming, I can recommend Bazzite. Built upon fedora with some quality of life things and very stable as it’s immutable. Very hard to fuck up.
Also, for those interested in more mature movies: Juror #2. I had good expectations and was not disappointed. At least, not by the movie. There were only a handful of people in an already small cinema room, only a week after release. Meanwhile, Gladiator II is drawing a lot of public.
While I love shitting on CEOs and business people as much as the next left-oriented person, this trend in the movie industry is very much, at least partially, at fault due to many of the consumers.
About as accidental as falling off the stairs in Russia
This would especially be great if one could upload their photos but if you decide to include a few of your own please add a photo of trump.
Bonus if you make an easter egg where when you throw one tomato at trump it doesn’t apply a tomato effect and instead changes to the picture of him being shot.
Could be, though I am not claiming it is the best distro ever made. It is very good for my use case, however, and I think that it is a good option for many gamers that are considering taking the leap.
Been running Bazzite for a month and having a great experience with it! My nvidea cards work with no hassle, and with the extended proton I have had issues with only 1 game so far, and even that was fixed by just switching to a different version. Only downside so far is that Wayland doesn’t work as well as X11 on my DE, but with the rest working great, I have no complaints :)
Indeed, I wanted to know the keys to disable health bars and such to make the screenshot prettier. I’ll try to rebind the keybind in Valheim when I have the time. Thank you!
