  • Indeed, I was going to comment "cross-post, the feature that doesn't work for all the instances in 0.19.4?"

  • Nice!

  • Are insults really necessary?

  • Seems pretty easy for any corporation to setup something like https://lemmy-federate.com/ but for Maston/IceShrimp/Misskey accounts to federate the important corporate accounts to the targeted non-corpo instances

  • The post from yesterday in this community is the poster, a lot of people pointed out that blind people wouldn't be able to read it, that's mostly it.

  • Crossposts are still not working, understandable indeed

  • Not that I think of, especially as they were not federated with most of the instances

  • Let's not start again this whole debate ha ha

Also, piefed.social is a small team, but is almost feature parity with Lemmy

  • Defederation is more about not being flooded with 1000x more users than the Fediverse currently has

  • Fwiw, it has been 7 days since I told you that it was missing from that list.

Lemmy.ml deployed 0.19.4 around 13 days ago (local communities were made available in that release): https://lemmy.ml/post/16252832

it would be good to place a warning about all 3 of them

Where, and how? Seems tedious to write a satisfying message with "don't go there for politics, but it's probably the best place for FOSS content" that wouldn't confuse new joiners

  • I was confused at first, I thought it was the Apache project
