  • It's fine to use both, most people do

  • Let's hope it delivers

  • Alright so I just manually parsed the comments theree: https://literature.cafe/post/16567061

The federation seems to be a bit clunky between your instance and that community.

the whole community just doesn’t feel very active, at least IMO.

Even beyond the federation issues, that's unfortunately the level of activity for HP on Lemmy at the moment. I've been trying to post there every few days, but I'm mostly the only one with @threelonmusketeers@sh.itjust.works

We can usually quite a few votes and some comments, but that's it. You can maybe create a post there to promote your communities as well. The community still has 532 subscribers, all of them interested by HP, so you might find a few people into ships

  • If Pixelfed can reach 186k monthly active users in a week thanks to IG users, than I'm really not sure how tech savvy that person is indeed

  • Strong agree. Maybe we should start calling out communities with inactive mods. Like a spring cleaning of communities.

  • Yes, the admin on diagonlemmy isn't very reactive.

  • Yeah, that could be considered brigading, and Reddit might monitor that and just remove entire threads

  • Please don't, bullying is never nice

  • Feel free to add it in the text under the instance name, or maybe make an update thread to explain where you stand, with a paragraph on donations

  • ship

It's a couple for characters. Leia and Han are a ship

  • Yeah, that's definitely a shame. Let's see how it goes, but I'm about to create a !usdefaultism somewhere just to list those occurrences

  • It has definitely been long promised

  • moderation sucks across the vast majority of Lemmy

Moderation isn't ideal, but absent moderators aren't going to moderate even with the best tools

  • Funny @sh.itjust.works

What a strange thing to say...

Update: post deleted Most popular thread on /r/Redditalternatives is promoting Discuit, despite it having 185 weekly active users compared to the 44k on Lemmy. Feel free to chime in
