  • Sorry, I wasn't clear. Encryption is enabled as a room setting at room creation, it's not user dependent

    To answer your question, it depends if encryption is enabled or not. If it is, then indeed messages are only available since you join

  • I am well aware, but the Reddit posts had a lot of upvotes and positive comments, so it appeared more trustful to Reddit users potentially interested in joining Lemmy.

    If you have a blog, feel free to host that post over there, I would then link to it.

    At this point they must notice a drop due to all the automated bans, and must fear thar people will notice too and look for an alternative

  • Indeed, but Jerboa is probably not the most recommended client, those are Voyager, Sync, Boost, Thunder, Summit.
