  • Stupid money

  • It was grabbing a toehold even when our world was a literal hellscape.

Actually this makes sense in the context of autocatalytic sets hypothesis - you'd need large variety of inorganic compounds and a strong energy gradient to kickstart a metabolism.

There's great video on the subject from Sabine Hossenfelder https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yOiZLHDV3U

Part I'm talking about starts at 15:48

  • not the 4,000+

    Unlimited powah!

  • I didn't read yet, but I alredy know you won't see the roundtrip efficiency numbers in that article

  • Every time they purposefully ommit crucial info like this it means it's a complete showstopper.

  • Early 1st gen ryzens segfaulted under certain workloads (particularly during compilations)

So it's not like AMD is stellar that regard. Everyone has a faulty product occasionally.

But AFAIK AMD didn't deny RMAs

  • This is a horrible setup - even minor shade can disproportinally affect the power output.

They should get rid of the plants growing around the panels
