  • around 27% of israel's citizens are not jewish. they have the same rights jews have, so yes they can buy land wherever a jew can.there are 4 arab parties in the knesset.one of them was part of the 2022 government.

  • most of the aid is rerouted to militants and the leftovers are mostly sold to civilians at exorbitant prices, while the hostages get crumbs.not giving aid and attacking militant hotspots quicker could've ended the situation sooner and would've enabled direct giving of aid to civilians. in addition to securing the hostages sooner.

    that's the way of thinking from what i've read.

    and yes. it's one of the ultra-orthodox parties in the coalition. just that this one is zionist and aims to mainly represent sephardic/mizrahi jews.

    i replied to a comment of a person who thought the attack was unprovoked, and that israel attacked first.the article shows hizballah was the one who started this round and joined hamas's attack on israel.

    i thought anyone following these events would be aware of the continous barrages from hizballah, as there are news about it all the time..

  • not necessarily.there are quite a bit of druze who vote likud, and a surprising amount of muslim israeli arabs and bedouins who vote for shas.i haven't seen an article that mentions how much of a percentage they are out of all likud or shas voters though. but in some towns and villages they are as much as 30%+
