  • I like my steam deck. It plays basically everything on steam whether it’s verified or not. Even games that don’t work well on it will still run.

Poor battery life means it’s tethered to the wall unless you’re just emulating or playing low end games.

The switch 2 will be cheaper on the secondary market and they will make a “lite” version that is cheaper or a “pro” version that makes the original cheaper. It never makes sense to buy a brand new console outside of keeping up with the joneses.

  • I’ve never understood this argument in a vacuum. Fair use includes education. And people have been getting inspired by art they don’t own a copyright to for ever.

There are lots of other critiques of ai that I do agree with.

  • We can change our environment but we can’t change the hearts of our neighbors.

  • I drilled a hole all the way through a molar in a dream not too long ago. I apparently did this to my self on purpose. I have distinct memories of swishing water through the hole. All I could think about in the dream was needing to get it filled like a cavity. I hate the teeth dreams too.

  • Jimmy Neutron taught me

  • I feel like the other option is a Jacob’s Ladder experience

  • Here “common sense” means incredibly harsh.

  • Literally. Politics is all about the power dynamics between people. If there are two or more people there will always be a power dynamic even if the two are on good terms and do not exert power over each other.

It’s like how you can always describe the color in any given painting, even when the painting is monochromatic.

  • And this is why I don’t care about most small businesses. Unless they are a co-op or a genuine charity the vast majority are run by people like this.

  • They are puzzle games with a visual novel for the framing device

  • The robots in China are cheaper, especially when there are tariffs to import them.

  • This isn’t facebook, no one cares if he follows esoteric religious traditions.

The problem is that he won’t follow legal requirements that protect us normal people.

  • If you are as smart and educated as Carl Sagan, I’m sure weed isn’t doing the heavy lifting.

  • I want kids. I can’t afford to have kids.

  • Don’t spread that idea, that’s how we got here.

The law is that a person is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. (Yes, yes I know “for now” and the rule of law has ended you pedants let me have my modicum of hope.)

For decades people have been “convicting” others in the court of public opinion which has caused the general public to think they know better than a judge and jury while only having information from hearsay, rumors, and the news. That leads them to disregard court findings and believe people to be guilty who are not and people to be innocent who are not. So people who they don’t like are going to prison in El Salvador and people they do like are president.

  • No it’s dr who

  • No, those are the drunk drivers, the angry ones specifically.

  • In all honesty it’s not really even a punishment. It’s paying the community back for causing it harm.
