  • Hell, a lot of them have bones in them, they just chop right through the bones and you just put the piece in your mouth, eat the meat, and spit the bone out to grab with your chopsticks and put on a bone plate.

  • It’s not too bad for sure. I eat wings at my local Vietnamese place a lot, and I usually use one hand plus chopsticks for them.

  • Ever since I married my wife, and started noticing all the things she eats with chopsticks, I’ve come over to the side of chopsticks supremacy. 95% of food is best eaten with either chopsticks or a spoon. Our fork space in the silverware drawer at home is always full because they’re rarely ever used.

  • This just in: hot wings must be eaten with two sets of chopsticks.

  • That’s strange, I have a friend with no internet and he used his ps4 for half a decade before ever connecting it to the network.

  • Idk, the electric cars make it much quieter in the cities than your average city, when you’re not near a street mall with these damn megaphones.

  • Even worse are the megaphone speakers that just repeat a 2 second ad clip on max volume over and over with no break between.

  • Because that narrow, twisting mountain road is less than 30m from a city of 100,000, and a lot of people camp there and have no idea how to navigate using real maps and rely upon internet connected GPS on their phones. Also, because, why not? China has 5g on top of the remotest mountains, because it’s useful to have.

  • Idk I played Doom RPG on my flip phone in high school and that game was pretty awesome. I also had Splinter Cell 3 on it, that was pretty miserable to play, but it was cool seeing full 3d on a phone.

  • Yeah, it’s pretty fun but man, I feel like it’s impossible to get a reaction squad that isn’t complete idiots. At least in the beta you could expect your teammates to revive you. Now they just all scatter in 4 distinct directions as soon as the match starts and you’re unlikely to ever see them again other than if you spawn on them.

  • Yeah the place I went to had a sign that just said “Biang Biang 面” outside above the door.

  • The noodles are great. I was going to the mall in my wife’s hometown to get her engagement ring resized, cause apparently she gave me her UK size and that was different from the US size, or something, and in the didi on the way there I saw a biangbiang noodle place, and told her we had to go. Once we dropped off her ring we walked half a mile down the road just to try them, and they were very good. Huge portion at the place I went, too. I ate well beyond comfortably full but I just couldn’t finish it.

  • They’re called numerals aren’t they?

  • My health savings account through my work recently did this. I still haven’t tried to log in since because I don’t feel like going through all this hassle.

  • They both design and sell technology used to oppress minority groups and surveil dissidents.

  • Just found out they were raided by the FBI for infiltrating anti apartheid groups and sending info to the apartheid government.

  • Private equity that does leveraged buyouts doesn’t plan on really making anything with the companies they buy, they buy them to strip the copper from the walls to sell for scrap and then shut it down after they’ve made billions and straddled the company with an impossible debt load. It’s more likely we’ll see them sell off IP than actually try to influence anything, in any way other than to make it cheaper to produce.

  • Running into the Cambodian genocide deniers on TikTok is always so surreal.

  • Yeah, that’s very true. Precedents don’t really hold up anymore in this current era.
