  • Hillary Clinton is our best candidate let's convince the whole primary field to drop out because the democrat donors want Hillary and it's her turn. Said the democratic party.

    Also my vote in Delaware didn't lose her the election. We have popular vote on a state by state basis. Can't blame 95% of the democrats or independents that didn't vote for her. They should be polling in the areas that will decide the election. I think the stat was 20,000 or so votes in the middle of the country decided it.

  • Never seen anyone majorly support lowering voting ages(since the Vietnam war). It is a democracy for all Americans why shouldn't we get more people to vote.

    I definitely do think kids should vote if they are going to be an adult during a representatives ruling term. Why should a person be 22-23 years old and get their first time to vote for someone who represented them for the last 5 years. That seems stupid also it will allow kids to slowly get into politics.

  • Melatonin only helps me sleep within a 45 minute windows which can be ignored. Zyrtec does nothing to me only benadryl and alcohol. Have a sleepy effect for me.

  • Well 700mg is extremely high for me personally I only need 120-200 MG that lasts me about 5-6 hours and i take a melatonin for sleep or do some exercise which helps alot. But each person is different sounds like you need a sabbatical so lower dosages help you

  • Religion is an old form of it is what is, hope, direction, tradition, and community.

    Can't explain a thing or understand it God's will or only God knows. Can't do anything to help a person because they are in surgery pray or talk to God to wish for good outcomes.

    Don't feel loved or know what to do or wanted. God loves you, will show you the way, and wants you.

    Most traditions and communities in the west were founded on a religion so you have hundreds of people to connect with at a church and maybe millions world wide that will help. Those raised on books of wisdom or what is right and wrong still tend to keep the values even after they move away from the religion but realize they can have values without divine beings

    Lastly control. Just like businesses it is easier to control people under a religion so if you can get people indebted, traditionalized, and ostracized otherwise. You can control people easily. Lots of people don't know what to do and why trust another human being but if a human being says wisely God said this it is easier to accept and gain a direction

  • Terminal inputs seems like coding. Back in the day you can mess with everything by coding. Having to spend time on forums and searching Google to fix problems that are Terminal inputs only is not something people want to do and what people are passionate about a thing or it is their hobby do.

    Most people use what is in front of them, works, and what they are use too. I don't have time to fix the wifi issue on my 10 year old linux laptop I just plugged it in. Other option is to reinstall windows every 6 months

  • I prefer my desktop. But I can game 6 hours of not more of my work day since my job is to make sure the Internet works and stare at an email. So 99% of my gaming is on my laptop

  • How many Israelis support idf or Israel? Hamas and Hezbollah flags are the equivalent to Israeli flags since they are terrorists organizations and governments. Usa supports only one of the terrorists though...I would argue Hamas are rebel fighters. Rebels use terrorism against regimes and occupying forces that kill locals in this case genocide and colonize Palestinians.

  • Prefer Firefox browser. But what is bad about their search it seems to be the most accurate to what I want. I always found ddg to give me stuff outside of exactly what I want. Google just started going out of right field. Then the summary ai thing recently added to brave search has been decent. I like the sources

  • I am also not qualified to be an engineer despite having it in my title I am more like a data center technician or cable/server installer. Which is more inline with my salary

    But give me a couple years with it in my title and tons of learning and a certification I can hit network engineer with 6 figures.
