There was a hell of a party called The Big Banger. Shit was poppin. Everything was created, from things, to location for those things to exist in, to time for those things to change through. It was really tight and hot, but as more space was created, things were able to calm and cool down, giving the opportunity for organization rather than pure chaos. After a really long time, things started to gather together because of gravity.
As things accumulated, they created large bodies. If enough things accumulated in one body, they would start to make newer more complex things and light! However, there's a limit to how complex things can be made through gravity squeezing things together. When that limit hits, the body explodes. The force inside the explosion is so powerful, that is was able to make things more complex than gravity was able to. And, through the explosion, all these things get spread out. With the passage of more time, that stuff starts to accumulate again.
Since it's so spread out, most of it accumulates in the middle, but some accumulates around it. It creates these cool discs of celestial bodies that lap around a huge central body. The central body, being so big, starts to make it's less complex things into more complex just like before. This gives off light again. The smaller bodies doing the laps get pretty hot on the inside, but cooler on the outside. This creates a cyclic pattern of things moving about and mixing within the little bodies. With everything getting all mixed up and receiving light & heat from the central celestial body, the opportunity for the most complex things is present. Eventually, the perfect conditions are arise, and the things start to organize just to organize! Yep, that's right. Things become autistic.
While things organized, their strategy is random. The ones that are best at organizing for their environment, continue to do so, while the ones that suck just don't anymore. Through this competition of developing the best strategy, more complex things develop. At some point, one of the things begins to use the light from the big body as energy to become so complex, it can unify with other complex things, making a multicomplex things! This process continued until those things develop the capacity to have excess energy, plan, and alter their environment to help them organize even better, even if it is at the expense of other things just doing their own thing. But, it works out overall because it creates a massive system. At the peak of organization, the things release the Belgian techno-anthem Pump Up the Jam. After that (you are here ❌), they purposely destroy their environment since they reached the peak of organization and complexity, and just slowly let everything become chaotic and random until there is so much space, that time becomes meaningless.
That's not how it works. The Overton window is based on the population's positions. In the US with it's first-past-the-post voting, it creates a two party system. They then compete for 51% of the votes by taking positions, which establishes the Overton window. If in the primaries, Democrats elect a leftist candidate, then when they get to the general election, they will lose to the Republican because their side of the window will have more votes. What the Republicans did was create a sense of loyalty to their party so that they has a solid base of voters no matter what they do. They then only have to compete for a potion of the rest of the votes. This moves the Overton window farther right. This meme is aimed at the farther left voting base of the Democrats because it tells them that they are disenfranchised, so they should not vote. This is literally a low key Republican campaign ad.
Stay focused much longer without becoming exhausted or frustrated
More respectful in conversations because I was able to stay focused on what they were saying. I also remembered what they said.
Hope that things could improve
Long-term:
More confidence in myself
Reduced shame that I was rude, disrespectful, or careless about others. Paradoxically, this lead to me setting better boundaries when overwhelmed because I didn't see them as rude.
Less reliance on notes
Less anxiety that I forgot something important
Less vulnerable to manipulation because I was able to see patterns better since I could remember interactions more, and I was more confident that what I remembered was right.
I was able to structure my days better. I developed a daily routine, eat healthier, and establish sleep schedule.
More awareness as to what were issues I was having because of ADHD
Felt more like a person than a problem
What surprised me the most was that all of these are apart from work. I had no idea how much ADHD was affecting my overall life. When the psychiatrist said that treating it would be really impactful to my mood, I thought she was just trying to lift my spirits and get me hopeful. Nope. She knew exactly what she was talking about.
Edit: Whoops. These all were things that improved. What didn't improve was things that were related to other matters, such as anxiety in crowds, lack of trust in others, general sense of doom, etc., but I'm working on it! Being able to plan and follow through is fantastic. Ohhhhh, is this what executive functioning is??
The default background is black. The colors are all muted. The cursor is slow. The computer shuts down for 12 hours a day. The sounds sound compressed and muffled. When you try to open a program/app, it prompts, "For what? What's the point?"
Thank you! I got really nervous that I was going to under deliver, so I tried to demonstrate effort to not seem like I was being neglectful or careless. Your words were consoling. 😊
The lady is the beauty and focus of the dance. She is in his arms and submissive (follow dance role). Her other hand is in his showing she is giving him control. Her face is also up and careless. I tried to make the hair look like two different women on the team, one kinky hair and the other straight-curvy. I didn't realize it at the time, but I guess it represents the blended nature of Latin culture and salsa. Though admittedly, that wasn't my original intent. It just naturally happened that way, which I guess is more authentic anyway.
The guy is to the side and the stable force that is keeping her up (lead dance role). He's looking down at her because he controls the dance. He is holding her hand up confirming he accepted control. The hair is also ambiguous.
The white space between them shows that when they are dancing, they become one.
The colors represent the studio's name.
Do you have the one that was chosen?
Yes, I do have the chosen one, but since it's for the team, I rather wait until it is finalized before sharing it.
Blizzards are seasonal. Right now, it's flood season.
