The first half of chapter one is a struggle but the second half made a lot more sense to me. I think next week I'll re-read chapter 1 to help it sink in and then read chapter 2. Essentially doubling the amount of reading but fuck it if I didn't push through before reaching 100% understanding it'd take me a lifetime per chapter lol.
Yes, but the cities they live in are designed to support car infrastructure instead of being walkable / having adequate public transit. Cities are designed in this way to serve the interests of the wealthy.
The wealthy are the architects of the system we live in, and they resist any desire for change with all the power at their disposal. The disinformation they spread with media outlets they own, the lobbying to reduce regulation, outsourcing, etc. all play far more of a factor than your average persons agency.
I think it's really hard to balance single player shooters to feel "fair" while still being difficult. Especially since if you make it hard, no amount of difficulty sliders will make it accessible to your average gamer.
For hard SP shooters I'd recommend Ultrakill & Neon White

I'm autistic and I have driven for years without issue. It was scary at first but you'll get the hang of it. Especially since you're driving to the same place, I could drive to work with my eyes closed at this point.
Not benevolence at all. Workers had significant extra pressure when the ruling elite were worried about communism spreading. Now with union membership at historic lows, and government unafraid to side with capital, western workers have very little bargaining power.
